Great year for the Union Raiders. Realively new organization to the league that put 3 out of 4 teams in the Super Bowl! In addition, they split the Midget Youth and Junior Youth teams to help develop their players, even though it probably hurt their team's chances at winning a "super bowl". Their Midget team had one of the most impressive seasons in recent memories. Back to back undefeated seasons. This year they outscored their opponents 200+points to 6!

UR Midgets beat CC Red Devils 25-0. UR Midget Youth beat Taylor Mill 14-0. UR Junior Youth beat Spartan Youth (? score) Super Bowl Match Ups #1 UR Midget vs #2 Bandits (12-6 in regular season) #1 Bandits Midget Youth vs #3 UR (6-0 OT in regular season) #1 CC Red Devils Junior Youth vs #3 UR (not sure if they played) All 3 of these games will be good ones. I'll go w/ UR's winning both Midget games w/ CC winning a squeaker at the Junior Youth. Side note..CC's Midget team has a ton of potential. UR's had too much for them, but CC's kids play really hard and have great talent. Little Lorenzen has a cannon. Going to be fun watching him develop. They just seem to be missing a couple pieces this year. I heard they had some key injuries as well. Wouldn't surprise me if they develop into the team to beat in a couple years.

I agree. It's ran really well. The communication can improve dramatically, but overall a great league.

I get that, but either the Head Director or the people they're relying on to gather the info are not getting it done. If that's the case, find someone that will. Every organization in the league has people that can send a quick text at the end of the game to their Head Director. This isn't quantum physics. It just takes a little "can do" attitude and less excuse making. Again, they still haven't updated last year's playoff brackets.

I understand the reasons for some delays, especially regarding the schedule, but not w/ the scores. Clearly their system is flawed. And I don't buy that nobody wants to do the job...I offered to help and didn't get a reply back. How hard would it be to assign a point man from each organization to gather all the scores and send to the league by Sunday evening? If the scores match, then post it!

I hope everyone takes a good look at Justin Blackburn! #'s are absolutely ridiculous, but more importantly a great kid who does things the right way. He wasn't dealt the best hand, but has certainly made the most of it. I'm pulling for him and Ludlow this year!

It was a shame Ryle's RB got hurt. He was running all over SK. May have been a different outcome w/ him in there.

Ha! I didn't know something that absurd even existed. Regardless, I can assure you there are a lot more than 3 12U teams in the country that would embarrass the CC Red Devils or any NKYFL ever for that matter. They are really good, though. Red Devils are a great organization.

What about Bellevue? Unless the scores are wrong, it looks like they're one of the teams to beat.

I hear ya, but I do all of the above and offered to update for them. Haven't heard back. There has to be an admin in the league that could keep it updated. Can't be too complicated.

They still haven't completed last year's brackets! Such a shame. They have a nice website and plenty of support, but can't find a way to keep the scores updated.

Nice analysis. Sounds like a good bracket to watch. Didn't Ludlow lose earlier in the year to the Bandits, though?

Definitely not counting anyone out. Just a prediction. CCRD and UR's are pretty strong this year. Not as familiar w/ the JR teams, but it seems like SK has lost a lot of the "Super Bowl" talent this year.

UR Midgets beat CCRD 27-0. They remain undefeated the last 2 years and secured the #1 seed for the playoffs. Taylor Mill Midget Youth beat UR Midget Youth (B) 19-6.

UR Midgets won 12-6 over Bandits. Bandits Midget Youth won 6-0 over UR in OT. Bandits Juniors won 8-0 over UR. All we're great games!

Big games tomorrow. Union Raiders Midgets and Midget Youth vs the NKY Bandits. All 4 teams are undefeated. Should be great games.
