I think this was a legitimate question to begin with and with a real question. The team is more than one person! Yes, obviously Ben is a HUGE part of the team , meant in everyway. But when you have Hall, Moeves, the Anderson twins, Pengallo you have a lot of excellent defense and offense players. So, yes we need all of our Breds healthy. They are on fire right now, Ben is having a fantastic tourney. No one expected us to get this far, except for the fan base. It is sad that people have to tear apart a 17 yr old kid. Everyone can have a diff opinion, but it won't bother Ben, prob will only motivate him, but as a Momma I can tell you, I would be furious if some of those comments were made about my daughters. So let's all be adults and think about the families. Kids do a better job! I have seen SO many positive posts, tweets, etc for Ben and this team from players they knocked out of the tourney. So let's be like them!

I BELIEVE that NewCath can win this game. With each game " we " keep hearing why they won't win, or the next game is going to be this or that. These boys are not taking anything for granted, they know at this stage of the game every team is going to be really good. They are taking one game at a time. I don't have a son playing. But we have completely enjoyed watching them! They play calm, cool, collected, Coaches have been prepared for each team and executed a diff plan for each team. This won't be any diff. Will Dunbar be good? Absolutely , the best we played so far, probably. But we dont stop believing because the other team is good. Go Breds! You make us proud!

Good game, great crowd and pep section, refs were good. Fun game! We were not in the student section , but we sat very close to them. Four seperate times a yellow shirt security guy came down and stopped our kids from jumping and refused to let them stand by the railing and in the walk way. Which was blocked and they did not allow traffic through anyway. He kept pushing our kids back into the seats. When a parent very nicely asked him what the prob was, he said that the structure was not set up for that. Looking across the gym at the all boy student section twice our size in every way, leaned over the railings, jumping etc. When he was questioned he said , "Oh I didnt notice." Hahaha they were so loud anyone with eyes saw. Now obviously it wasnt a conspiracy but did interfere alot with the student section cheering the Breds on! Go Breds! Mr Huther and Mr Detzel even tried to diplomaticly handle it.

Yeah I would like to know too! I also wasnt at the game but have a good idea who you are talking about. With the NCC AD and Principle there, I wont be surprised if this issue gets addressed quickly. Mr Huther is no nonsense!

Thank you for saying what everyone else was thinking, how many girls of her AAU team moved with her like LaLa. I agree she will be a good player, but I didn't realize that HC had a Jr High. I thought they were HS only.

Sad truth is we had every opportunity to win and didn't. TD called back, missed field goal, offense sluggish. Mayfield is always a good team, but we could have and should have beaten them. Our defense was top notch. Many many 3 and outs. Sad about the mistake, at this level all these boys deserve officials who know what they are doing and know the rules. Very unfair, for everyone asking what happened, here it is, Mayfields punted the ball it bounced hit the ground, bounced up hit our players helmet and went into the endzone. Then a Mayfield player jumped on it. Ruled a TD.

Oh I will. My opinion was not in regards to this site, it was ONLY in regards to this post. I stand by what I said. There is a lot of guessing and hearsay. There were alot of negative comments. I dont have a son who plays basketball so again, I couldn't care less about the subject.

Yes being my first time on here, all the negative posts about how ncc will take anyone, blah blah blah. It was not complimentary. When 90 % of it sounds like the teenage girls bullcrap gossip that goes on. I would dare to say not one person personally knows this boy, his family, his background, his previous schools, grades,etc . Its hearsay. I heard this, i heard that. one person heard from a cch parent he didnt Choose them, someone else heard from a cch parent they denied him.which is it? Like i said I couldn't care less. But everyone is safely behind user names and saying nothing of value. All gossip and nonsense. Say what you will be about NCC but we have had wonderful experiences up there.

Prob so lol, I could personally care less. But my daughter said he was a gentle giant and everyone went out of their way to make him feel welcome. NCC is a very small school, but I could go on and on about how happy we are there. Graduated one who completed EKU first year with 3.7. Said mom this was easier than some of my HS classes lol. Great education, loyalty and service, arts and athletics. Truth is there are but a few people who know the "real" truth about this kid. All the gossip reminds me of HS! Hahahs

My daughter who was a sophmore last year at NCC met this young man as they did a school tour, he is going to be a Jr this fall. She said he was very nice mentioned looking at 3 schools. This is the 1st time I have ever heard anyone say he was not accepted at other schools. The young man came back a 2nd time and told the students that he haf chosen NCC because of the size and the warm welcome that he received. Is that true? IDK, but my oh my there are lots of NCC haters on this! Lol
