Why are they closing? Just because they are graduating several talented players may not mean that they won't bring some in down the road! It'll be the last year for anyone in the 39th to take a stab at Mason...what they've got coming up is scary.

Not by his own accord from what I was told. Hope the administration will support this new coach, because it didn't look like the supported the last one.

I just don't get the hire....get rid of a guy who won over a 100 games and they hired a guy who, if memory served me correct, has a total of four years as a head coach, 3 as a boys coach and one as a girls coach. I'd thought there would be people banging down the door for this job.

The two names I've heard too. Most would think it would go to the one with the most experience as a head coach.

^ I'd say that would depend on who is within the inner circle and who isn't. They may end up replacing all the other coaches there before too long!

I think that they should give Kelsch a call, at least see if he'd be interested. He's done a pretty nice job at Bracken with 3 District Titles...not to mention, his girls work hard.

According to Mason's webpage they have several job openings in the district. Several elementary, several middle, and several high school.

Don't see it either. Not a teacher.

In that case there, maybe Mason should hire Bracken's Coaches!! :lol2:

You also stand behind a moniker as well. I am sure the people in Augusta are shaking their heads right now about your posts. All you are doing is embarrassing the school and the people who run it. Sorry, but if you think you can do a better job, please apply, I am sure that your valuable insight into the program is what is needed then.

I'm adding my 2 cents in this and it is this, the fact that you've dogged Austin Crawford is uncalled for and that if you are an Augusta fan (which I would hope you were not because I wouldn't think that someone acting like you have would be an Augusta fan), you are dogging a player who has worked his tail off from the day he got there. I'm not a fan of either school, but it is pretty sad that a so called "fan" would call out kids.

So Hinson did apply? I've heard a Bracken coach applied.

He is a good player, but he's been playing varsity since 8th grade, and played several years at the middle school level. If he goes to Pendleton, he will benefit Pendleton's team. They've got talent, but this would be an added bonus to both ends.

Was told if he waited, he'd get a raise.
