  1. Both are great, but a slight lean towards peanut butter. Ritz for PB...Townhouse for cheese.
  2. I like all 3, but Mexican is probably number 1.
  3. I was on To Tell The Truth when I was 10. Lynn Swan was the host. Vicki Lawrence, Kitty Carlisle, Monty Hall, and David Niven, Jr. were the panel. It was the "One on One" game at the end, where I told 2 stories, one true, one false. The panel asked me questions, and then a random audience member had to pick which one they thought was true. I won $333.33...would have won $1,000 if the audience member got it wrong. Pretty cool experience, for sure. If I got to choose another one, it would be Price Is Right.
  4. I'm not sure there is a professional sports team that I dislike more than the Bad Boy Pistons...especially Laimbeer. I get the sense that he genuinely wanted to injure people. Every time I see a doc about them...it reminds me of how unlikable they were...and also, that they were really, really good.
  5. There are definitely several reasons, and as mentioned, population is a big one. Having grown up in Indiana, and now living in NKY for about 13 years, I would agree with those who said it's just a bigger deal up there, for whatever reason. Just 3 years ago, I went to the New Castle Fieldhouse (cap. 9,400) for a first round sectional game between a top 10 4A school, and a 4A school with 2 wins on the season. Both of these schools were about 45 minutes from the sectional site, and I would say there were at least 6-7,000 in attendance. In regards to the large gyms...this originated mainly in the 50's and 60's, when schools would build giant gyms, in hopes that they would have the biggest gym in their sectional, and be selected to host. Some of the enrollment to gym size ratios are absolutely crazy, like schools with 3 or 400 students having a gym of 3-4,000.
  6. We've had Chick-fil-A a couple of times, and a couple pizzas from LaRosa's. Wings from Knuk-n-Futz...first time I have ever had food from there...and it was good stuff. Hopefully we can branch out to some more local places.
  7. I would say that Loyola Marymount's entire run in the 1990 tournament was incredibly impactful from an emotional standpoint. Following the tragic death of Hank Gathers, I have never rooted so much for a team that I had no attachment to, before or since. 30 years later, and I still remember how much I enjoyed watching them play, and the atmosphere that was evident at those games. The 30 for 30 on that team, while a little quirky with the whole Shakespeare theme, is definitely worth a watch, if you're not too familiar with the story.
  8. Weak sauce punishment for this. There's some clips of former GM AJ Hinch being questioned about this. Obviously, he denies it, which is to be expected. But he then comes across as arrogant and condescending, knowing all the while what they were doing. You've got to imagine, there were relievers and young pitchers who got sent back down, after getting rocked in a series in Houston. Baseball is such a weird thing, in that you know people are always bending the rules. But something about this, the orchestration of it, just is really sad.
  9. The Notre Dame is overrated narrative may have been true in the past, but not recently. They've won 33 games in the last 3 years. They started the season around 9 or 10, and that's probably about where they'll finish. They return they're entire offensive line, a 3 year starter at QB, and most of what was a really good front 4 on defense...from an 11 win team. If people want to dislike ND, it's all good, but at least realize they really are a top 10-15 team. If you want overrated, look no further than Texas.
  10. Obviously, Urban being that low is completely laughable, and a joke. Bobby Dodd at #21 with no national titles? A guy named Frank Kush at #43, whose most notable accomplishment is that his team finished #2, and that he got fired for allegations of player abuse. Another one who's too far down...Don James.
  11. BC's defense is disastrous...UC should handle them pretty easily.
  12. Green had an incredible game. I'm really impressed with how they played, especially offensively. Florida St. is just not a fun team to play...to put up 80 against them was a really strong effort. And of course, a huge boost from the crowd.
  13. Wow! SFA wins on a breakaway layup at the buzzer. Pretty incredible stuff. First non- conference home loss for Duke since 2000. Duke's offense down the stretch was...not good. Congrats to the Lumberjacks on what has to be the biggest win in program history.
  14. Indiana really had a chance, just couldn't get that last stop. Penn St. is going to get annihilated next week. Their defense is not very good at all.
  15. Really sorry to hear this. Seems like a great kid, and obviously incredibly talented.
  16. My wife and I went to Harry & Izzy's in Indy for our anniversary. This is the partner restaurant of St. Elmo's, which sits right next door. The shrimp cocktail is worth the hype, in my opinion. Excellent steak, and a really enjoyable meal all around.
  17. Dewey's is probably my favorite in the area. We tried to go to Bourbon House once, but it was pretty crowded, and we didn't have time to wait. I've heard good things about it.
  18. Farmstand Market & Cafe in Union has a good burger. Especially the chorizo burger...really good stuff!
  19. Probably 8 games, or something like that. Pretty bad stuff, for sure. It also shouldn't be ignored that Mason Rudolph tried to rip his helmet off first, and Pouncey kicked him in the head while he was on the ground. Baker Mayfield's post-game interview was spot on. As a team, they continue to do things that hurt themselves.
  20. Really frustrating game, and just a complete lack of preparedness. Book has regressed... the whole team has regressed. I just hope they don't completely implode, and lose to Duke or Navy, or something like that. Kelly has taken this team as far as he can, and it's going to take someone else to bring in the talent and mindset necessary to put this team at a legit playoff level.
