I do not think Highlands is better than CovCath this year in basketball despite that upset. CovCath will have a better record at the end of the season and if not; I would be more than ecstatic to see these two teams play in the regional for a rematch. I think Highlands deserves some bragging rights for that win but I don't think they will have a better record come February 2019.

Embarassing loss considering that basketball was largely CovCath's strong suit in the rivalry for the past many years. Also Ironic that CovCath beat Highlands in football this year but not in basketball. What an interesting flip. It doesnt look like this is CovCath's year in all honesty. I hope I'm wrong and that CovCath will step up when Mayer returns but until then I'm gonna hold off on my expectations.

IMO I think CovCath fans should take time to appreciate just how incredible this past year was for us. I'm still soaking in all the victories. What a year. Congrats to South Warren on pulling off the upset and I wish all the best for the Spartans and my Colonels.

Well I think the best teams in state are the ones who win the title. So its Male and South Warren. It was CovCath before today but that was before the final test. Male and South Warren are the top teams in state because they got the title. Overall, I think South Warren is #1.
