  1. Games in the old gym. The new gym here is nice but something about the character of the older gyms I love.
  2. Lunch of Shrimp and grits :thumb::banana: then heading to game. I will give updates when I get there.
  3. yes, got T'd up in the first and the 2nd half, thus the 3 game suspension. He appealed it Friday, so not sure it he has heard back from that or not. As of yesterdays practice he wasn't figuring on being on the bench.
  4. He was just on the refs hard, maybe a little more then usual. He felt Cozart was getting mugged almost every trip down the floor and wasn't getting a lot of calls. Nothing monstrous or anything, I think the refs just got tired of hearing it from him.
  5. I don't think it's the fact that the officials in a different region sway the game one way or the other because the other team is not a region team. I do agree it is tough sometimes to play with other region refs because they might call the game different (more physical play, more touch fouls, etc) then how your region calls it, but at that point it is up to the players and coach to adjust to how the game is being called. Fair or not, that's how it is in every level of play from HS on up.
  6. I will be there for the Madison Central/LCA game tomorrow and hopefully on the other days if meetings and such at work allow it. If your in the gym for any of the games would enjoy crossing paths with some BGP'ers.
  7. Defiantly a tough loss for us, but as I have said all year, its the tough ones like this that will make us better. Four of the top 5 scorers are juniors or sophomores and Cozart is starting to figure out the offensive end a little more each game. He is also learning how to stay out of foul trouble, which for someone who can get double digit blocks a game, is very hard to do. Back at it tonight against Bracken County:thumb:
  8. looking forward to watching him at EKU next year. It will be an excellent fit for both him and EKU.
  9. I agree, Fern Creek is still the front runner by a good bit. They just have too many players that can be the leader on any given night, that it doesn't matter if somebody has an off night. Valley is interesting, and I think will be the number 2 team when all is said and done, they have some really good players and are very athletic. The surprise to me is Bullitt East. I really didn't expect them to be in the mix this year after losing so much last year. But they seem to do what BE teams do, which is play as a team and do what each player does best. All in all the 6th should produce some fun games to watch.
  10. What I found: Powell Co vs Casey Co at 1:00 Clay Co vs Berea at 2:45 CAL vs Letcher Co Central at 4:30 I see Eminence and Pike Co Central listed but no opponents or times for them
  11. Great article. Love watching him play, he has a great instinct, and drive for the game. Plus I am a '88 grad of Tech. Go DAWGS!!!!!!
  12. No more then anyone else on here :lol2: I'll be over that way on Jan 27th when Madison Central comes knocking on Trinity's door, maybe we'll cross paths.
  13. 59-46 Central Final Not sure what Cordia left at home but unless they were 5 feet or shooting layups they were no threat to score. Good win for Central, they executed well and Cozart was tough around the rim.
  14. Gerald's with the 3 for Central 52 - 37 Central
  15. Cordia getting to the rim and making a game of it. 41-36 Central 6 minutes left.
  16. Cordia applying some pressure and starting to eat into the lead 41-30 Central end of 3rd.
