Barnes also had a pick 6 in the first quarter that was called back for roughing the passer. Then he had about a 50 yard to run in the third that was also called back for a block in the back. He's a legit play maker on both sides of the ball.

It is going to be a dirt mound

The Bluegrass Chiefs beat Florence freedom 3-1 last night.

Wrong thread. My bad

I'd say 3rd best SS

Any details?

Defense doesn't help when you walk 5 in 1 inning

the championship doesn't matter. All that matters is getting to the regional tournament. And pat Ryan decided this would give them the best shot

Just going from what I have heard. Another reason like somebody stated above is the defense drops off drastically when he is not at short.

Also HC left the bases loaded to end the game.

They were hoping for a lead. And when they got the lead jared Seibert would pitch the rest of the game. He pitched 4 innings giving up no hits while striking out 6 in 4 innings of relief

Holy Cross's short stop Jared Seibert should be a candidate. He's hitting nearly 400 for the Indians. His record on the mound is only 2-3. But he has an era under 1 with 19 more strike outs than innings pitched

They play at Cordero field

In the seed game Seibert pitched all 7 innings for HC. Not sure who pitched for beechwood

The first game was also the district seed game

The second game HC got to stringer early. The score was 3-3 after the third I beleive. Then HC's starting pitcher took a line drive from combs off the shin and had to leave the game. The Indians bull pen would struggle after his exit.

The first game was 1 to nothing beechwood going into the 6th. when holy cross had an error on the first basemen that led to 2 more runs for the Tigers. HC would answer in the bottom of the 6th with 2 runs if there own. After a scoreless top of the 7th HC stranded runners on first and second with there best hitter on deck.

Final in the doc morris

Jared Seibert ( Holy Cross ) has offers but hasn't decided yet

Ludlow pitched Tyler Lyons who threw the complete game shut out. Holy Cross countered with Jared Seibert who struck out 9 and he also went the distance. Both teams finished the game with 3 hits a piece. The go ahead run scored in the bottle of the 6th after a questionable call on a pick off throw at first base.

Holy Cross only gives up 1 hit in the first inning and cruises the rest of the way

I know Holy Cross plays Covington Catholic at 5 on Friday at Covington Catholic. And other good match ups this weekend?

Final after 5 innings. Dixie hit a two run homer to left in the first. Then added a solo homerun in the third. Holy cross was lead by Jared Seibert going 2 for 3

Jared Seibert from HC is one of the top short stops in the 9th

Who are the top players for each team in the 9th?
