Dang I missed the title game.

Hats off to Male. They were as good as advertised. They should win easily next week. Wanted my Bruins to win but they were beat by a much better team. Bruins had a great year. First Region Championship in schools history. Just keep taking steps will get there if you keep raising the bar for the next year's team. Thanks boys a great ride. Proud of you.

It'll be a running clock next game too. Neither will compete with Male.

Go Bruins!!!!!! Proud of what you accomplished over the past 3 years regardless of how tonight's game turns out. I hope for a win but know the odds are not in Cental's favor tonight but there is a chance. Thanks to everyone for the encouraging supportive posts.

I think what Central is doing is wonderful. They are still trying to establish a tradition in football. Reaching 3 straight region final was unthought of just 8 years ago. Then Coach Lawson came thru and Central improved, then Coach Perry came thru and the continued to improve. Now comes Coach Mattingly and their defense has never been this level and the offense has improved thru out the season. Their difficulty of schedule was a big step up for them this year from years gone by. So my final assessment is, they have gotten better each year since Lawson's first year to this year with Mattingly.This is their first regional title. Are they at Male and Trinity levels yet? No. Are they the best they've ever been? Yes. They are at the level that they be a David every now and then and catch Goliath looking ahead or taking them for granted. They have player who believe now that they can beat anyone and they don't give up anymore. I don't need stat or figures from another website to see this. I've been attending 90% their games for the last 12 years when my oldest son played and wins were rare even with light schedules then. My middle son played for Lawson and Perry and got enjoy a few more wins than oldest son. We all keep coming back every year to see them improve to where they are. The big 3 may never respect them but they get more respect now from everyone. There is no need to point out what they aren't when they have so many accomplishments to point out. Guess for some its easier to be negative and shoot everything down but now that how no one will ever get the big 3's respect. If the kids have to hear how they can't do things every week they will believe they can't and the game is over before its played. Now with that said and out of the way.....GOOOOOOO BRUUUUUUIINNNNSSS!!!!!!! i'm proud of you and your dedication.

Will this be streamed anywhere online? Will it be broadcast on any of the radio stations here in Elizabethtown? I wanted to make the trip but have to work Saturday now. Drive too long to pull off trip down and back and back to work next day.

Central Hardin by 7. I haven't seen McCracken play this year but I don't think Central's line will be dominated in this one.

Central Hardin dominated this game from start to finish and they should have as this is not a typical Meade team. They should be much improved next year. Go BRUINS. Best of luck next week at McCracken County. Will be a tough road win to pull off.

Central Hardin is much better than they were 10 years ago and are making steps in the right direction to keep improving. 1)Beat Meade last year 2)beat John Hardin 3)beat Meade and John both this year their home fields. Its all steps in the right direction. I hope my enthusiasm for Central Hardin is not perceived as dillusional. They are not Male, Trinity or X but they are alot better than they were. Lets congratulate what they are instead of always pointing out what they aren't.
