Dixie started 6a in 2011. 5 play off wins and a finals. SK 6 play off wins 0 title games in that span. also in that time span Dixie has a 4 and 2 record against SK.

Marksberry posted a 1-9 season in 2003. In two seasons 2003 and 2004 only 3 wins total. More recently posted a 2-9 season in 2011.

Since Marksberry has taken over. SK has a 6 and 11 record vs Dixie. In Marksberry's time at SK he is also sub .500 vs Boone. 7 and 8.

Only got 21 more wins to get to .500.

Also would like to point out. Ryle is 7 and 4 vs SK from 04 to 2014.

You are very right. Dixie vs SK all time 34-13. 1966 to 2014. Simon Kenton, under Coach Jenkins, played their first game in their school’s history on 9-2-66 against Campbell Co. and lost 19-12. Dixie played Simon Kenton, their sister school, for the first time on 9-23-66. Dixie won 26-6.

Dixie has a 13 win to 6 loss record. Nice work Red Colonels!!

25 kids are being recruited from NKY. Coaches at schools and practice. Looks and more looks. Wait for it.. on signing day only 4 kids..... What just happened??? I thought that kid was getting looks... Maybe after the looks they were asking direction to another school.

It very hard to get a full ride. You need size or speed and film and camp numbers. If not NKY would have 20 kids with offers every year. We have 3 to 5 every year.

Size is only half the game. Next level could be pay to play or free education. Like night and day. Lots of kids that start can play D3 ball if they want to. They may not ever get on the feild but they can be on the team.

Don't move just for sports. Life is much bigger than that. Unless you are short changed. Meaning son has a D1 offer at let say QB and coach said you will be a CB. That doesn't happen very often. Most coaches are fair. Things tend to play out the right way. My son was asked to open enroll at a school by the head coach of that school. I thought about it. As the head coach at the school he ended up going to never talked to him or me. I didn't and things worked out GREAT!!

Yes. Freshman football is a great thing. Loved it!!

In today's world most D1 o Lineman are around 300lbs. I have seen it myself. Now they may be a few guys that are smaller. Not that many.

Lol. too funny!! How can you tell by looking at someone how strong they are?? As a power lifter myself. Why are the records all held by fat guys and not body builders?? Muscle size doesn't = strenth.

Sure has nice size. No varsity film... You can have size but also have the film to back it up.

With freshman it's hard to tell. I think back at kids my son played with freshman year. some kids were great at the Fresh level and couldn't get on the feild in varsity. Also kids who didn't start in freshman ball started varsity down the line... Some kids mature early then everyone else grows. Seen it in basketball a bunch.

Why can't they find someone other than Dads to coach? How many Dads are coaching?

Why would people rent an apartment just to play a sport? If your good your going to play. Maybe not the spot you want to. unless you can use sports to get a free education. Why would you do that?

The worry from UKFan is SK may not have the BEST QB and RB this season... In his mind SK back ups are better than a star player from other teams. You can't win that fight. That's just what he does.
