Not to get off topic of the Top NKY players but what type of changes need to be made?

I heard a couple days ago it was her ACL again. I believe it was at one of the showcases (crossroads or blue chip).

NKSA U14 girls are State Cup Champions! Finally decided on the 9th (yes 9th) PK!! Awesome game! So happy for these young ladies they have worked really hard!! On to the Regionals...

NKSA U14 girls tied 0-0 early in second half vs Kentucky Fire. Missed a one on one with goalie earlier. Can't beat good teams making mistakes like that!

Well now the million dollar question is... What girls are you questioning and why?

Super duper midland ball? Not sure what to make of this? Are you an upset parent because midland passed on your kid or jealous of the success this organization puts out year after year? Midland has done nothing but help kids get to the next levels for the decades! Why bad mouth someone trying to help our youth become better? Rant over. Congrats to Boone Co on there regional win and good luck vs the birds.

I didn't say injuries happen because of club coaches. I said they are a freak occurrence and unfortunate. No matter how hard u train and how physically fit you are sometimes it just happens. I agree that usually the player doesn't come back from a knee injury and is better. I think that depends on the severity of the injury and the physical therapy when making a comeback. Adrian Peterson came back just as good if not better but he's a freak of nature lol.

Vandergriff (NDA) also has an MCL injury. Will be out til Regionals in June. I'm sure she should be 100% by time hs gets rolling. Some girls are unable to play a second sport as JOAT stated due to club obligations. I believe injuries happen and are just a freak occurrence. Most injuries are below the waist where soccer players are the strongest. Just happens and is unfortunate.

So she can't get hurt training/playing games for OE? Nemo played last yr and didn't get injured.

Boone plays Boyle co & Russell (both teams have 4 girls on 2014 all state team) NCC, Ryle, HHS, St Henry, Campbell, brossart, Dixie. Not sure who they play yet in bluegrass games or soccerrama. Not quite as tough as NDA or HHS but not soft in my opinion.

As a Boone Co alum it's a sad day when you don't see a BC tailback on this list! Good luck to these boys. Stay healthy and run hard!!

15 underclassmen + 8 seniors=23 girls. Could have had a 2 platoon system. Are some of these 15 including some JV players or did these girls strictly get varsity time? Just trying to gage how good they should be. I have heard they will be down this year losing 8 seniors.

Not sure bout the open jobs. I'll take a crack at my top 10. 1. NDA- best around here til someone knocks them off 2. Highlands- solid program with good athletes 3. Boone- only lost 2 sr and 2 Fr coming in will upgrade this team 4. NCC- lost a lot with Zimmerman graduating 5. Ryle- not sure about new coach. Poe is solid but will she get help from others? 6. Campbell Co- good team could be higher 7. St.Henry- could be higher not sure what they lost and have coming in 8. Simon Kenton- young team last yr should be better this yr 9. Dixie- Miss KY soccer gone 10. Brossart- didn't see them last yr going off what I've heard Just my 2 cents

Chris Black is the coach. He was an assistant coach at Wright St, I believe. He's been coaching these girls the past couple years.
