  1. KHA Red U13 girls knocked off Kansas and advance to semis on Tuesday.
  2. U13 KHA Red Girls won again today to go to 2-0 and play to advance to semis tomorrow.
  3. KHA Red Girls U13 won today - beat Javanon 2-0. Out scored opponents 19-1 in the tourney.
  4. We ran into this last year - 3 girls that didn't make team for the next season did not come to State Cup resulting in us picking up a player from the next team for State Cup. I also would be very surprised if kids "play up" on the higher-level teams with the new age grouping.
  5. There is a 6th, 7th and 8th grade team registered for a upcoming middle school tournament. The 7th & 8th grade teams appear to be coached by Hillenbrand.
  6. Yes - I believe that IHM has an 8th grade team.
  7. St. Agnes beat SPX in the 7th grade finals.
  8. The NDA 7th & 8th grade league tourney is today - good luck to all playing.
  9. The Diosesan tourney is on the schedule for the 7th grade. Week of 2/29 - 3/5.
  10. St. Agnes 7th graders won the GCCYS Tri-State Shootout tourney at Moeller over the weekend. They defeated Mother Teresa and a very solid Cardinal Pacelli team (twice).
  11. Turkeyfoot 7th grade has a few nice players. I thought the PG was the Ludlow transfer (Smith).
  12. St. Agnes may be team to beat in NDA 7th grade league. Beat St. Paul, St. Pius & Blessed Sac by double digits. Not sure who is the team to beat in 8th grade.
  13. NDA 7th & 8th grade league kicks off tomorrow morning.
  14. Reach out to the grade school and youth teams - Our fifth grade girls team got a huge kick out of being the runners at a recent NDA game (they did the JV & V games that night).
  15. Gotcha - And I googled it after my post - The ball was actually recovered at the 5 yard line not in the endzone in the Steelers/49ers game. Barry Foster thought it was a punt and the kicking team would just down the ball instead of recovering an onside kick.
  16. Not sure about that on a kick off - I believe that the ball can be recovered by the kicking team for an onside kick in the endzone. I think I remeber Barry Foster returning a kick for the Steelers allowing the ball to lie untouched in the endzone thinking it was a touchback and the ball was recovered by the kicking team (49ers) for a touchdown.
  17. Her KHA knocked off Javanon Black 6-2 in the finals and won the U12 Soccer Village Cup. MRL here we come.
  18. Yes - you are correct. The team was referring to the tourney as "State Cup" but it is the Soccer Village Cup.
  19. Their first round was in Lexington. Finals are in ETown. My daughters plays U12.
  20. My daughter's girls team will be in ETown this weekend for finals. Hopefully they can pull it off - it would be a nice end to the season.
  21. Get used to that name - there is a pipeline of solid Schuh girls for the next decade at NDA.
  22. In this game did the head of Team B coach explode?
  23. ...:rage::rage::rage:
  24. St. Mary's had two very solid 6th grade teams in the St. Joe's league. I believe that they consolidated them for non-league and tourney play. One of the St. Agnes split teams came from the losers bracket and pulled off upsets in back to back games to win the St. Agnes tourney this weekend.
  25. I also an curious as to the times and dates. Are games at Holmes?
