  1. I was told that he will be announcing tonight and Saturday
  2. Gotcha... One last time I promise, can anyone actually tell us what the Ryle player said in a "PG-13" Version???
  3. What evidence do you have of "animosity" between a Ryle Coach and Cooper Players?
  4. No history of this ever happening that I know of between Ryle and Cooper...I cannot speculate about Cooper vs. HC either but I was "told" (that doesn't make it true) that the Ryle player was provoked from the Cooper bench. It is still no excuse for the player to make any vulgar comments back. I would still like to know what the Ryle player said, maybe somebody out there can offer a "clean" version of what he said by using some well placed code words. Big game, loser has their season ended and the punishment was probably (can't say for sure) a game changer.
  5. Yes I heard that comment after the red card was issued as well, very unfortunate and immature. I just was trying to get the severity of the comment made to the Cooper Coach because if they issued a red card to every player the game would end in a 3 v 3 competition. Oh well...there is always next year.
  6. Good game and both teams played hard. Ryle played a man down for at least 60 minutes after what seemed to be some sort of verbal altercation between a Raider player and either the AR or a member of the Cooper bench. If anyone knows what was said to cause Larry to impose such a tough penalty please enlighten us. Obviously a great effort by the Raiders to keep the score at zero and overall probably had more chances to score than Cooper. The two teams (Ryle and Cooper) have played 180 minutes total this year to a tie, only to be resolved by PK's in both games. Congrats to Cooper and good luck to both teams tonight and hopefully the winner of our District will go deep in the State tournament.
  7. #18 is Hannah Poe and just a Sophomore
  8. Defense and keeper play again was very good for Ryle...Raiders with 2 starters still out...Ryle still trying to convert opportunities from set plays and runs into actual goals. As always, Siemer leaves it all out on the field...I don't think he has an "off" switch. Not the most exciting game but the effort level from both teams was very high.
  9. Ryle missing 3 starters to injury and sickness, Raiders started flat and ended flat. NO played well and is a very good team. Maybe the two big games against Cooper and St Henry took something out of them. Too many good teams on the schedule, if the team doesn't play well that usually will mean a loss.
  10. Hard fought match, at times it seemed like St Henry was really controlling the game but just could not get one to go into the net. GK Will Bedel had a great game for Ryle. Both teams missing key players to sickness or injury. Goal for Siemer and Hugenburg. St Henry with 2-3 yellows and one red when the goalie came out of the box and tripped Kayed one on one, which would have been the third goal of the game for Ryle. In don't think a Raider was booked in this game but didn't see it all.
  11. Great Game...limited yellow cards 2 maybe...both teams played their butts off. Cooper probably needs to get a little better in their midfield play and Ryle still looking for someone who can "finish". Overall all 2 talented teams who should meet again in the district final.
  12. Definitely a Boone County School policy, maybe other schools...not sure...I think the objective is to give AD's, coaches and other school employees one day off per week to spend with their families.
  13. Bedel has very good talent and seems to be a very good director on the field, only a sophomore I think. He does get some help with Ryle's back 3 defenders, they work very well together and are very good.
  14. Very good defense again for Ryle, offense looked a little more organized. A lot of offensive chances for Ryle converting only 3 (Roe/Siemer not sure of 3rd). Starting GK for Ryle only touched the ball 4 or 5 times all game. Cougars got one late with Ryle's reserves in the game. Conner looks young but there is some very solid talent. They just need more of it.
