Great Game...limited yellow cards 2 maybe...both teams played their butts off. Cooper probably needs to get a little better in their midfield play and Ryle still looking for someone who can "finish". Overall all 2 talented teams who should meet again in the district final.

Agree with your comments... Glad to see a clean, hard fought match, by both squads.

 

Not being at 100% definitely had an impact on the midfield play of Cooper. Missing a starter, another not healthy, and a key sub being out because of illness greatly impacted the rotation the coaches have been using.

Correct. District games have to end with a win for seeding purposes. First you go to sudden death overtime then PK's.

District seeding game. Must have winner. Played two 5 min golden goal, and the PKs.

Wow! What a game that was last night! Glad I went! Two really good teams played a really good game. Back and forth, both teams had chances, although I think Cooper had a few more, they forced Ryle's GK into some really good saves. Ross went off the post in the extra time, Snow also just missed in extra time. Looked like Kayed was giving Cooper's defense problems, Snow was doing the same to Ryle.

The shootout was intense, the stadium got so quiet! Well placed shots by all the players, Williams made a big save on Siemer to win. I tell you what, Logan Williams is by far the best GK I have seen this year. I have not seen everyone play, but he is unbelieveable.

Cooper is on a roll, let's see if they can keep this level of play up. I hope they do as I am good friends with some of their coaching staff, especially Coach Wainscott, who has been coaching high school soccer in NKY for probably 20 plus years. Good to see the staff having success with this program so far.
