I came out and saw this one great win for the Jags..

I saw those uniforms good luck..

I saw this one from about 35 minutes to go in the 2nd half. Very entertaining to watch two equal teams battling it out. A shame that one of the teams season ended after this one. Boone will have their hands full tomorrow night.

 

YC, I'll let you know on cleaning the uniform after my wife tries to get my son's white shirt clean. I think we'll be wearing white tomorrow night so you'll see first hand whether it worked.

Did Ryle have some new players? I watched them earlier this season and #9 was new, he looks older than a high school kid

I guess we will wear maroon so if you are wear light tan(white) shirts we should still be able to tell the boys apart. :lol2:

F&H... #9 is Alberto Aguirre, a really nice player, he transfeffed in last season. I believe that last night was the first match that he has played all year... I agree that he does look older... many people actually brought this up last season.

 

I'm not sure on why this was the first match that he played this season, I was told that he just became eligible on Tuesday. :idunno:

A parent filled in for his injured player/son. Boone does it all the time. I played a couple games this season but they switch out and put me at goalie since I pretty much fill up the net. I got red when we played Scott--potty mouth.

Good game and both teams played hard. Ryle played a man down for at least 60 minutes after what seemed to be some sort of verbal altercation between a Raider player and either the AR or a member of the Cooper bench. If anyone knows what was said to cause Larry to impose such a tough penalty please enlighten us. Obviously a great effort by the Raiders to keep the score at zero and overall probably had more chances to score than Cooper. The two teams (Ryle and Cooper) have played 180 minutes total this year to a tie, only to be resolved by PK's in both games. Congrats to Cooper and good luck to both teams tonight and hopefully the winner of our District will go deep in the State tournament.

Sure can't type what I was told was said... the comments were evidently directed at the coach of Cooper.

 

Not sure what was going through the players head at the time, or what was said, I do know that he had only been in the match a few minutes. I did not have any problem hearing what he said when he went off the pitch, I was sitting on the opposite side of the field, top row of the bleachers and

I thought the chances were pretty equal, Cooper had more in the second half, I thought Ryle's chances mostly came in the OT periods.

 

Cooper had a few early in the second half that just went wide, one within a few inches. I also thought that Bedel pushed one away in the second OT that looked like a sure goal.

 

Ryle had their best chances off a few corners in both of the OT's that Cooper was lucky to clear.

 

I thought that it was a great match... just a tough way for anyone to have their season end.
