There was nothing scattered about that thunderstorm. It parked itself over Gilligan Stadium and refused to move. I've never seen water run down the street like that ever.

Some won't accept them because of their short history and some won't except them because they are in direct competition for players. For whatever reason it doesn't matter because what does matter is people are noticing.

For Brossart to be on any list is an accomplishment.

There doesn't appear to be a clear number one. The preseason threads indicated it was CCH then everyone else. Highlands and Ryle certainly can make the case to claim the top spot ,as well as SK with their performance against CCH. St Henry has always proved to be a tough out, so don't count them out either.

Coach Wiggins has done nice job with this team so far early in the season. He's got some runners who can mix up the tempo and he's got some receivers who can catch and run. The penalties have to stop. Too many false start and delays last night hurt a lot of their momentum. The special teams played better than the first game. It was nice to see Duffy get that field goal monster of his back and make a couple. Donnelly looked equally comfortable punting the ball. If they can control the penalties they can really put a lot pressure on the defense. Good luck Mustangs!

I'll take Walton after watching Holmes. The Bulldogs are too one dimensional in their run game and their passing is average. Their qb is a nice player, but if you focus on him the run game is nonexistent.
