  1. Sounds to me like a very valuable player...Maybe not the "super star", but the team would sure miss a player like this. With those 500 assist, that is at least 1000 points the team would not have without this player. Out of curiosity, I am assuming this a a point guard who plays solid defense and is often asked to play in the paint during 2-3... Am I wrong?
  2. Scenario: Your child, we will say 11 year old is a very talented player. We will go ahead and say that they are considered to be the best in your school system of children of the same age. The high school in your child's district does not have an overly achieving athletics program. The high school may win 70% of the games played, but they are not considered to be of regional or state championship caliber, not now, not in the future either. Now, down the road, in another County, there is a school that is consistently winning regional championships and making deep runs into the Sweet 16 but have never been able to come out on top. The academic's are on the same level. Would you consider transferring your child to be on the more prolific team. This particular team does get more "eyes" on it, meaning more scholarship opportunities. So what say you? What if your child was older, say Freshman?
  3. Is this left up to the particular district? The 15th does use seeding
  4. These numbers won't be achieved at NKY, 2015 at WKU practically had every person from Allen County in attendance for all 4 games. It was unbelievable how well they traveled.
  5. This was possibly the worst officiated game I have ever seen. Holmes had the game plan right...but the officiating crew took it away from them. To beat Glover, you have to prevent her from having the ball. ONLY WAY!
  6. Great Pickup by Johnson. Side note: I always thought Glover would be a better fit in BG than Glasgow.
  7. Very talented team, with a very smart coach. Lots of potential behind the ark. Look for big play from senior Turner.
  8. Looking more solid this year. Players who had the talent to make plays didn't have to, because you had Rich. If you have a youth team and want them to see a team that relies on heart and hustle to win ball games, they need to watch these Ladies. No show stopping talent, but they move the ball so smoothly. Their only problem may be depth.
  9. I would like to take a moment and Congratulate Holy Cross for winning the State Title. Being a Allen County Fan, it hurt to have made it that far and come up just short. Those two teams gave it there all. I a glad the game was clean and the officials didn't ruin it. If you didn't enjoy the game, I'm sorry. Again, hats of to Holy Cross!
  10. I would like to see the instances where an official was trying to give Allen County the win...
  11. Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt any feelings. I was posting facts, not coulda, shoulda, woulda's.
  12. Only 3 Kentucky Teams have played E-town to within 15pts. this year. They are Sared Heart Butler Allen County Scotsville Only one of these teams made the 16...
  13. I see this the same way. Top Three Players in the state all made the Sweet 16... Erin Boley E-town Macy Morris Bell Co MOrgan Rich Allen Co. Scottsville
  14. AC-S has 3 on the roster currently. Morgan Rich who has well over 2k, Holly Robinson and Savannah Gregory with 1k.
  15. I don't think you've watched much action from the Ladies in the 4th...Evidently you have not met any of the members of the Bowling Green Purples, or Reagan Turner from Monroe,or Barnett from Central, or MacKenzie Coleman from Metcalfe. Heck you must have been so fixed on Morgan Rich you missed the true #2 player in the Region...Savannah Gregory. The 4th region is always stacked, they just beat up on each other so much during the regular season, come tournament time, they are beat up
  16. Could South not get get central into foul trouble?...IMO Warren South's coach is very impressive, his team doesn't have that "star" player and still seem to get it done.
  17. Rematch...Round II tips off tonight at 6:00pm at Patriot Gym!
  18. ACS wins 49-35... Morgan Rich finishes with 25 for ACS, Glover has 14 for Glasgow. Glover does have to take some time off the floor for pain in the hip due to falling during a block attempt. These two meet again soon at ACS.
  19. Looking foward to this game, game of the week in my opinion. Rich vs. Glover Good Luck to all!
  20. Who has had the most members of the 1,000 point club on there roster at one time?
  21. Since they have lost there main presence in the paint and probably there best perimeter shooter, I don't really know what will take place. Bartley can handle the ball and shoot but I see problems with her being able to feed Glover any where other than out front. With that being saif if Glover is faced to handle the ball as well as be 75% of the offense just spells disaster. Double on Glover, force them to beat you from behind the arc, and I don't think they can. Glover is the real deal, she can score at will If you let her. I've also seen her get frustrated and it went bad. 6-2 Record District Play
  22. Yep toughest 1st round. I'll go ahead and say it...it's hard to make 4th Region playing in the 15th district. On Any given night ACS, Monroe, or Glasgow can beat one another. They are the top 3 teams in the 4th region, and one can't make it past dictrict play.
