The offense will have to put up big numbers for the first part of the season because the defense will not be tuned yet. Other than Burchell and Nelms the LB position is short and is still up for grabs. The D line will have a tough time replacing who left. The DBs will do great. Great corners with experience. This Senior class is one of the best but they won't have much help. This team will do well, but I just for think they can do better than Blake Bir and company. But i would love to see them prove me wrong.

I firmly believe that CCH will not be nearly as good as last years team. We lost a lot of upperclassman who had the positioned locked up for awhile. It looks to me Wirth Scheduled harder. Our D line looks to small and not many stars their. I believe this year won't be a very productive one. But it will be a stepping stone for the classes to follow.

I know Shelton will be playing D after Frosh because I believe he is practicing varsity as a LB. But your saying their is a chance that Cole might play D as well. If he even plays football.

Lets say CCH, Highlands, Wood, New Cath, Cooper, Ryle , and Simon kenton

No they have not, I'm asking how they compare up physically. And compare them from last year even though they are in two different leagues. And compare them on what we know they can do.

He is playing. I believe I saw him walk out of a workout the other night. I sure all the boys talked to him and got him to play. I am not sure if this is Coles Last year or not. He is a stud and can play both sports. He should!! Can't wait to watch him and Shelton connect for long td's.

No one said anything about the entire Frosh team playing up. They have some great athletes. Some will dress and won't see the field until blowouts or injuries.

Woah woah woah, hold up. I do not think In ail lion years that a cch Frosh will be playing varsity this year. Yeah some will dress but they won't be in at crunch time. I just stated that a freshman might play because you never know what could happen, injuries, blowouts, etc.

When does Burchell look to be back?? Timmerman will compliment the d nicely. I guess same burchell was the last freshman to get real varsity playing time. Would Shelton be considered the next most likely to do that. What about him longsnapping? Who is the current longsnapper and would Shelton give him a run for his money?

The good old rivalry of CCH vs. Highlands. It's always the highlighted came on both of these schools schedule. No one wants to lose it. Cch looks to rebound after a tough loss last year, many thought that last year was the team to beat highlands. Didn't happen. We lost a lot with Blake Bir. But we have a very skilled Adam Wagner to replace him. Although he doesn't have the arm of Bir, he can run. We will be set with Luke Bir at rb and dressman. Dressman, I think is the difference maker. The defense looks rough right now, but will return to its original self when season kicks in. Big Sam burchell will not let up. Nelms is looking for someone to smash in the mouth. The third lb spot is still up for grabs. Anyone from rensing, harden, timerman, Kathman, and many more sophomores may fill in at this spot. Also, freshman alex shelton may see a few snaps at backer. In a whole the colonels look to be strong and fast. The game will end a fun one. Cch freshman: this team looks to be a very talented, fast, athletic, big. Led by alex shelton and Cole vonhandorf, this team looks to finally end the birds streak and witht time, will hopefully bring home a state championship. Should be a great year. But the winner of HHS vs. CCH usually goes to the team with less turnovers. If cov cath cuts down on TO's and forces highlands to punt they will win.

Timmerman got most reps at middle backer at spring game. i also thought Shelton was at SPring game, Did he dress or did Wirth just have him watch. Any chance for him to get any snaps at backer?

i heard his father and him didnt like the system. He was giving Cov Cath real consideration, but he decided to go back to where i beleive his dad is from.

On all levels of play, varsity, JV, and Freshman. How do these two team stack up. What to do they need to improve on, what will try miss from last year and who are some young men that we should look at.

I couldn't agree more. Tanner will likely not start at CCH no matter what Cole does. Ben dressmam will likely be their QB until senior year. Then either Cole or tony Hentz. Tony. Will be a great Qb but he just isn't getting the same reps as Cole. If Tanner wants to play QB he should not come to Cov Cath but if he wants to contend for a state championship he should come. He may have to sacrifice a little. But that's life
