I'm on the side of equality wholeheartedly. This misguided lack of respect ticks me off beyond comprehension. It's not respect for coaches and players, It's cowardice. I can guarantee my kids will not ever participate in this nonsense. They appreciate the fact that we are imperfect but strive to be better to ourselves and others. There are injustices, sadly so, there are also malicious false narratives pushed to justify criminal behavior and lack of responsibility. JMO

I didn't see much if any helmet to helmet. He clearly hit with his shoulder thrusting the defenders upper body backwards. He did not lead with the head and any contact would have been incidental. They want to make this game touch football, The rule makers have been taking the contact piece by piece away for years. It was a clean block on a defender that was clearly " in the play". Bad call, Bad precedent. So the defender can plow over a blocker but the offense has to lead with hands first. When he extends his hands they will call it a hold, you can't block a running body with hands. I can't imagine two bodies running at full speed at each other and one has to extend his arms. That's going to hurt at some point. That block gave the ball carrier 10 extra yards. Legal and aggressive. That's football, and why girls don't play the game.

It's hard to say OG we haven't played GRC in two years. We ran the ball well against them last time we did. I believe to the tune of over 400 yards. but the landscape can change alot in two years. I believe they have a new coach. They have athletes but don't seem to be able to translate that athleticism to on-field performance and wins. I wouldn't go in thinking easy win. I do think Boone can compete and win if they play hard. Collin had about 230 and 4 scores so unless things changed, run power alot. Hog the ball.

Are coaches allowed to vote for their own team?

Stand and make your country better, until you move it's your country too. Don't disrespect your home, make it better. Do something other than a petty act of divisiveness. Quit ignoring common sense, the real facts and figures and following blindly.

Maybe, maybe not. The character and effort of the team against a talented opponent will be what's important. Even when losing do you compete or lay down? Do we rise to the occasion? don't be surprised if we are in the fight. It will be hard to stop them. I've watched some film on them and they have some very good skills and a big line. But can they stop our relentless rushing attack. We don't have an average backfield. Who knows but that's why we play the games right.

They are a good squad, really good. We took our scrimmage and opening loss to CCH and used the opportunity to learn, adjust and grow into a better ball club. I say this with great sincerity and honesty, We are not the same team as we were during the scrimmage and week 0.
