GRC: What does Boone County need to know?

Boone County plays at George Rogers Clark this Friday night. I know nothing about GRC. I don't know anything about their previous opponents. I'm not sure if Boone Co has ever played GRC. So I am in the dark about what to expect this Friday.

Can anyone enlighten me and other Boone Co fans concerning GRC? Thanks.

That's fair but things aren't as desperate as it seems. Boone beat Holmes handily. They played with Conner and could have beat them.

South Oldham and Ryle were different stories. Dixie was not as far out of reach as it seemed. Yes the line dominated ours but we missed on some big plays that would have changed the complexion of the game. Plus, Boone put in a new offensive set for that game and abandoned the run. I guess they figured Boone would have a hard time running against Dixie so they didn't much try.

Level of competition makes a difference with how good a team looks. If Boone played Harrison Co, Dunbar, and Grant Co it is likely we'd look like beasts. We did against Holmes.

That's why I'm trying to place GRC. They lost to Anderson Co and Montgomery Co.

It's hard to say OG we haven't played GRC in two years. We ran the ball well against them last time we did. I believe to the tune of over 400 yards. but the landscape can change alot in two years. I believe they have a new coach. They have athletes but don't seem to be able to translate that athleticism to on-field performance and wins. I wouldn't go in thinking easy win. I do think Boone can compete and win if they play hard. Collin had about 230 and 4 scores so unless things changed, run power alot. Hog the ball.
