Ryle is coming off an open week. Their most recent game was a 28-21 victory over Campbell County. Ryle is 4-1 with their lone loss to 5A #1 Covington Catholic. In addition to the quality win over the Camels, Ryle defeated Henry Clay, Boone County, and Highlands. Senior Easton Pilyer is the QB for the Raiders and SR. Jake Chisholm is the Raiders leading rusher.

 

Cathedral (IN) defeated Jeffersonville (IN) 48-7 this past Friday to bring their record to 2-4. The Fighting Irish 2017 schedule to date includes a win over Bishop Chatard (IN) and losses to #2 St. Xavier, King (MI), Pickerington Central (OH), and St. Xavier (OH).

The Cathedral roster includes 97 players . Sophomore QB Roman Purcell leads the Fighting Irish offense and has passed for more than 600 yards. Senior RB Markese Stepp, a Notre Dame commitment, is the leading rusher averaging 120+ yards per game.

I think this can be a competitive game.

This game should be a good test for Ryle. After a disappointing start to the season the Raiders are headed in the right direction. This will be a good measuring stick for Ryle.
