I dont think They beat out the Orioles / Boston to win the division and get a wild card. I also dont see them beating out Oakland / Texas for the other wildcard. But that's besides the point. If they are out of contention by the deadline I want them to try and get those guys, especially Luop.

Ive watched the feeds for a little bit last night on TVGN. I have a bad feeling that some of the houseguests are going to act like this is a dating show. Too much drama already about who likes who.

Id trade for Aaron Luop and Adam Lind from the Jays. Luop is a solid lefty out of the pen and Lind can play left but also is a free agent in 2014.

Also if you look at the end of their schedule, they play the Dodgers, Cubs, Brewers, Astros, Mets, Pirates(6 games). 12 out of their last 15 they play the worst teams in the MLB. 3 against a team that should be all but done. And 6 against an in division team they are racing with. I like that last month schedule. If the Reds are in the race, they will have numerous opportunities to separate/clinch. But that's 2 months away. Need to separate now and get hot.

The Reds are picking a good time to struggle. Cards arent setting the world on fire and Pittsburgh is getting hotter, but aren't separating themselves.
