Another great outing and complete game for Kuebbing and the St Henry Crusaders. Kuebbing came out slow but as usual rallied and went the complete game against a tuff Highlands club. Kuebbing gets stronger and more accurcate with all of his pitches as the games gones on. One of the best pitchers in the region without doubt. Game was all tied in the 6th until St H Rogers / SS hit a right field bomb to the fence for a double and then scored on a pass ball. Then the hits began. With bases loaded Tony LaCorte hit a base clearing center field bomb and cleared the bases with a stand up double. Kuebbing came in and finished a great game for the Crusaders. These kids have heart, pithcing and bats. Good solid combination.

St Henry playing Gallatin KY tonight. St Henry left fielder juggles a fly ball but clearly does not drop the ball. Two (2) umpires state that he dropped the ball. OMG!! How did two (2) High School umps miss this call? Are you kidding me? St H SS asked the field umpire about the situation, and he said "he didn't see it", but agreed with the call. Really? What the hell are you doing there? F'ing joke! That's unacceptable!!

Its a strike if he did not pull back, even if it hit him. Simple as that my friend.

Underdogs St Henry wins agaisnt BOONE!!! 3-0 Shut Out. Hey, these guys can play. Big heart, good offence against a great pitcher and solid defence. Tony LaCorte goes deep for a 365+ HR over the trees and Rex Rogers hits the 365 top of the fence agaisnt Gans. Catholic boys have heart, solid D and OF and want to win. Also, Mitch K is probably the best pitcher in the region. This guy can thrown!! WOW!!

Peter from St Henry is a machine! Been reading a lot about him. I'm sure coaches will be more careful with him behind the plate. Also like to see the Underdog team like St Henry do well.

These people on here really think their kids are going pro, and or getting full rides to colleges. Really? Would love to see their kids ACT scores. Keep it real folks! My son is a top local BB player at a small school. Has a 3.8 GPA, runs a 6.9- 60, hit 400 last year as a Soph and played VR since he was a Frosh. Whats really important folks? Baseball or a ACT 25-30 score? DO YOUR RESEACRCH on top job placement and money earned after college from kids that do well in college. Not baseball!! HELLO!! Respectfully! KY WONDER!

No to turf! No to Florence Freedom field! Our boys are not used to playing on turf. Huge game changer! Everything chages. Major changes in field conditions as compared to a all grass and dirt field. Most boys do not have the correct shoes #1, thus you cannot lead off, and or get your first step on a play which is huge. You loose at least 1-2 steps on lead offs, unless you have rubber cleats. Same on batting stides. Most boys I watch have tennis shoes, which is a huge disadvantage. The initial ball bounce on the infeilders is much hotter so you have to play back, unlike a grass and dirt field. Again, you loose timing on your throw to first. Our boys practice and play all year on grass AND dirt then they have to play on all turf? Move the regionals back to dirt and grass fields, i.e. St Henry and Dixie!! Both great fields!! Also Simon Kenton. Great field as well!!

Agree!! St Henry and Brossart are two very good teams. St Henry has 5 seasoned players, one that throws close to 90.
