I can tell you straight up that the Magic isn't worried about anything. A couple kids on the 15u decided to leave so they had to be replaced. Simple as that. Actually I haven't heard that they have added players so who did they add. As of Wednesday they hadn't added anybody.

They don't control what bracket they are put in. They won the championship in the bracket they were placed in. Where was team manimal at? Is team manimal going to be at the state tournament? I've been hearing they have a real nice team. Would like to see them play. With the coaches they have I bet they are very good

How many tournaments have team manimal won? The magic 15s have already won 2 big tournaments and were in final four of another. I would put magic 15s up against any 15u team in the state!! Only team I see that will challenge them is hoop dreams. I hope I'm wrong bc I'm looking forward to the state tournament.

well lets see. The magic 15u have won 2 tournaments so far. How many have. any of the other 15u teams won. And not little no name tournaments at KBA. The magic 16u have been in final 4 of about every tournament they have played in. I would put the magic 15s and 16s up against any other team in the state, including the travelers. Hoop Dreams 15u is loaded and would go e the Magic 15s a battle

I agree with the EYBL being the best competition out there but why wouldn't the 17's go to the state tournament. If your not afraid to play anyone then why aren't they gonna be there. Give the fans what they want to see.

I just don't think Josiah can handle the ball good enough to play the point. Ideally keagan steps up and takes over the PG but he lacks experience. I would bring Josiah off the bench. Interested to see how it plays out

Ive also been hearing rumors about more top players in the state maybe transferring to prep schools. Been rumblings about the Snider camp not being happy about Louisville recruiting all those other guards for a while now. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cunningham and green follow Grundy to Hargrave. They are very close. Losing Grundy is a big blow to Henry clay

I don't think Josiah can run the point. I would put him at the 2 guard. We really need keagan to step up and take over the PG position so chapmen can play the 2, Hagen the 3, and Colton and Micah inside. The PG position and the bench is going to be a big question mark. Maybe we get lucky and get a good player transfer in. Lol

I will be going to the state tournament all day Saturday. Should be a lot of good games. Its pretty obvious the Travelers don't want any part of the magic. I don't know why because it would be a great game. I'm looking forward to watching hoop dreams 15u play. I would love to see them go up against the magic 15u

Yes stearns is playing with the magic 15u. I haven't seen any other Wayne Co kids on any AAU roster's. I agree that PG will be the biggest question mark for Boyle next season. I think Chapman Bean will end up being the PG and Hagen will slide over to SF. Josiah Robbins and Keagan Hinkle will battle for the other starting spot. Been told Tristin Morrow is not playing next year. I really expect Hagen to take his game to the next level. He had a really good sophomore season but next season is when I think he will explode. I'm not just saying this because he's my nephew but you would be hard to find a player that has worked harder since the end of last season then Hagen.

Micah has already signed to play baseball at WKU. I have no doubt he will play next season. Colton has grown a little bit and from everything I have heard he has been dominant with the Louisville Magic 15u. Hagen has also grown some since the season ended. I wouldn't be surprised if he's up around 6'4" or 6'5" by the time next season rolls around and he keeps adding weight. Playing with the magic 16u has definitely helped him. Look for him to be one of the best players in the 12th region for the next 2 years. Wayne county will be the preseason #1 but you can't underestimate how big of a loss the Shelton kid will be. He was the glue to that team and the leader. The rest of the region will be up in the air between Boyle, southwestern, Lincoln, Mercer, west jessamine. Mercer will have a really nice team with Drew Davis returning

Sorry I meant to say since the EYBL started that the travelers haven't made the peach jam. Not being negative in any way. I know how hard it is to make the peach jam. I played with Kentucky all star team back in summer of '98 that went to the peach jam. Top notch tournament. It was just getting started when I played in it. I wish the Travelers the best and hope they do make it this year. I'm gonna try and go

Caliparis son tried to get on the magic also. I heard way before the travelers came to Kentucky that Nike was gonna pull their sponsorship. As far as I know the travelers have never made the peach jam. Seems like this years team is off to a pretty good start and may have a shot at making the peach jam. Having a team from KY playing in the EYBL is huge for the state and will put a lot of kids on the map!! There is a lot of high level talent in the state right now. More then I can remember in a long time. There's also a lot of talented kids from smaller schools that don't get the exposure that may turn some heads this summer.

Looking forward to watching this team play. I would love to see them go up against the magic 16u or hoop dreams 16u. All 3 teams are very solid

thats why I think thacker will be a serious candidate. His son is a good ball player and can transfer in without any questions. The boosters and parents run things at MOCO. They will have a say in the hiring

That's who I was going to say. I think thacker will be MOCO next head coach. He's a good fit and a really good coach. I feel sorry for any coach that goes there BC of the administration

This kid is insane. How can somebody that young be that explosive!! Lebron wasn't that explosive at that age

I thought maybe he was taking time off to rehab his ankle. In my opinion he is hurting his stock by not playing AAU. Out of sight, out of mind. We all know the role AAU ball has in getting recruited. Is his stock really that high if in fact that's the case. Only major offer he has is Tennessee. After he blew up last year in AAU I fully expected him to come out and explode this year to get some momentum going into his senior year

Do you know that for a fact?? Why wouldn't he play AAU. That is where you get all the exposure

I still haven't found out who Hall is playing with. Nobody seems to know. Got word that tons of people were asking where he was at Pitt Jam Fest. He is not with the Magic

16u got beat in final four by Philly Pride, who won tournament in new York last weekend. 2 players were suspended due to not being in their room at curfew. Lost by 10 and was told if they had those two players the magic probably would have won. Lost by 10. Very strong showing for the Magic 16u. Hagen Tyler had 15 pts, 5 assists, 5 rebounds after scoring 16 points in qtrfinal game

The 16's just won their quarterfinal matchup against PA Renegades 81-70. Move on to semis tomorrow morning.
