John walked on at U.K. & got a scholarship. Played professional for the Chicago Bears. John has a big Heart!!!

There were a lot of excellent running backs that played for Boone County and they all had different styles of running the football. If I had to name my top three, which would be really hard, they would have to be Shaun Alexander, George Rudd, & Brandon Black!!! I would love to have them in the same backfield for three years!!! WOW, WOW, & WOW.

Billy Brumback would have to be a top quarterback on that list! He was the starting quarterback of the 1965 State Championship team! Played for the University of Louisville.

Coach Turner will do an excellent coaching job at Lloyd!!! The last time Lloyd had a Turner Head Coach, they won a state championship!!! Good luck, Coach Turner, we are looking forward to having you as coach!!!

Lloyd Memorial has a lot of Tradition, two (2) State Championships!!! One in 1965 and another in 1976! Granted they have not won any in this century but they have some outstanding young players!!! I am sure they have winning blood llines, becausse some of their fathers played on that 1976 team that won the State Title under Coach Daughtery! Jack Turner, coached the team in the championship game in 1965, & Coach, Roy Lucas, was one of his assistant.

The expectations have to be high with all that talent coming back!!! It appears that the Juggernaut nation has a strong group of young men waiting for their opportunity to show what they can accomplish!!! It would be nice to win a third state championship!!!! WOW!!!

That is an excellent question? I think it has to do with the principal of the high school, the superintendent of the time of the time of hiring, & who the hiree is!!!

He is not a full time employ of the Boone County School system. It use to be a requirement, but like I said, it is who you know!!!
