PT under Duncan is not the PT you are used to seeing, as the offense is probably 95% run oriented. They have some good personnel for a power run style offense and are relying on quick-hitters and running downhill. The passing game needs work, but is improving. That part is a bit of a letdown, because we had a very talented freshman qb who had played in the UA All-American middle school game who has decided to hang it up and focus on other ventures.
Defensively they are not huge, but are flying to the ball and playing hard.
Fatigue seemed to be a big factor in the McCracken game and was still some this past Friday, but seems to be improving. We still have some key players out with injuries, or are playing less than 100%; so getting everyone healthy should be a big boost and help alleviate so many having to go both ways all night.
PT still has a long way to go, but Coach Duncan seems to be the kind of guy that can build a program from the ground up.
