The last time the Rockets made it to the regional finals they were in 6A. They lost 45-35 at Boone County in 2007. I expect a great game at John Hardin Friday night. Shelby County is better than Spencer and more athletic. They have a lot of play makers on offense and a solid defense. Collins exposed their pass defense a little but from what I understand John Hardin doesn't throw it much.

You will enjoy it. The atmosphere for the semifinal game vs. Collins two years ago was amazing. One of my favorite stadiums I have visited.

I was able to catch a few stats for Collins on the radio: Nasean Roseberry had 6 rushes for 60 yards. JR Lucas was 17-36 for 243 yards and 3 TDs. Dalton Maggard had 3 catches for 108 yards and a TD. Unfortunately I missed the stats for Shelby. Most of their offense was on the ground.

Apparently South scored a TD with 19 seconds left to win. Sounds like it was a thriller!

Final This one was much better than the first meeting. There were missed opportunities from both teams, but I'm sure Collins would've liked to hit a few more open guys down field. Shelby County is now 11-1 and will travel to John Hardin next Friday.
