  3. Bracken County and Bath County battled it out in the gym made famous in the Movie Hoosiers Bath County 81 Bracken county 71 The Home of the fictional Hickory High School. Pictures I have seen look just like the movie, except the benches are at the ends of the floor, rather than along sidelines. I loved the Hoosiers movie and think this would be a unique experience for some more KY teams. Hoosiers gym website, located in Knightstown, In

  10. The FTJFL is still a very good organization and run by a great group of volunteers. However, they have had to make some changes due to the "war on football" and some declining participation. In speaking with the leadership, they are trying to keep things as much with tradition as they can, but only changing some things to be able to have games. BCPWF, as rich in tradition as they have been, has had to make some big changes. CCYFL, although in infancy compared to these other programs, had no choice but to make changes to survive. If you love football, please continue to support your organization and the game of football.

  13. 2018 isn't a rebuild year for the Camels, they will be a good team and improve on last years 7-5. They return quite a bit and will reload the positions that graduated players. New coach and scheme, but this Senior class will adapt and surprise.
  14. Calpreps matchup gives following results: [2017] Mason County (Maysville, KY) 21, [2017] Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) 19 [2018] Mason County (Maysville, KY) 21, [2018] Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) 17

These are the events which really stuck out to me. Please comment on any events you feel were exceptional. Congrats to all participants.
  16. Josh Mitchell (Campbell County 2018) committed to MIT this past week to play football for the mighty MIT Engineers. Mitchell is a 3 year letter winner for the CC Camels as an Offensive and Defensive lineman. Josh showed his flexibility this past season by switching from his Guard position to Tackle on occasions, when injuries sidelined his teammates. Josh was a leader by example in the weight room and on the field. His highlights show his tenacity and play to the whistle mentality which allowed for CC to rush for over 2000 yds this past season. Josh Mitchell HUDL Josh is a National Merit Finalist and will pursue an Engineering Degree while at MIT. He will be a member of the Army ROTC program, as well as playing for the football team. Campbell County is super proud of this young man for showing us all what a student athlete truly is!
  17. Luke Summe with a 51.19 in the 400 this past weekend at the Villa Madonna meet. Being the first event of the outdoor season, this is an impressive showing.
