Newport vs University Heights Predictions (Quarterfinals All A Classic)

Featured Replies

Who wins the rematch? University Heights beat Newport at Lexington Catholic in December. The Cats lost McGuire in that game after receiving 2 technicals. Can the Cats bounce back and get revenge? Or does University Heights roll again? Thoughts?

Having played both of these teams I am anxious to see this game tonight.

While UHA has the best player on the floor in Tandy, Newport's multi-headed monster - Mcguire, Harding, Miller, and White certainly qualifies the Cats to take out the Blazers.

The question is - Is their defense good enough to keep the Blazers in range.

In their last encounter, the Cats allowed UHA to put up 85 points.

Anything near that again probably puts Newport on the bus heading north. Something has to change.

UHA doesn't rebound well and the Cats need to capitalize and own the boards.

While my heart says Rod Snapp and his Cats, my head and the numbers say UHA.

Starting 4th Qtr

UHA 45 Newport 32.

Newport fighting back: UHA 45 Newport 39 in 4th (time left unknown)

Via school twitter

UHA 57, Newport 44, 3:45 4Q

61-46 UHA 3:00 4th

UHA 67, Newport 46 Final
