  1. He could see everything. Listen to it again, he called every players name who touched the ball as they touched it and called Ohmer's shot as soon as he shot it. Don't make an excuse he couldn't see when you know very well he could see if you listened to the call. Sorry, just calling it as I see it, or in this case hear it.
  2. Then it may be time to step aside and let someone else at the mic if that's how you announce one of the best finishes in Region 10 history.
  3. Thought the same thing. Almost made a post stating so right after I heard it.
  4. My all time favorite was this years
  5. The under the Radar player that could make a huge impact in Lexington I will toss out the name of Brayden Runion with Cooper
  6. I'm not sure they even considered a concussion at the time. If you aren't thinking concussion then how are you going to diagnose a concussion?
  7. That's what I saw. Great Win and Great Game!
  8. Braydon Runion is flying under the radar and I think will open some eyes next year. He's had a big impact this year already with Cooper but is overshadowed by 2o of Coopers all time best players ever in Kunkel and S McNeil. I don't know where he would fall in the top 10 right now but by the end of the season barring injury I think he will be on a lot of peoples top 10 list.
  9. I was refering to the video that was posted here and I will get the post. I also watched the video of the celebration and it was CC coach who actually ended up walking over to Coach F. Coach F started to the CC side but then looks like he stopped near the scorers table for something in this video, as he is walking toward CC bench he then isn't seen in the video again as if he stopped until the CC coach walks to him. I cold be wrong, just stating what I seen in the video. Although does any of this really matter? Great game, Great Shot and Great Celebration! Here is the video I was referring to Twitter
  10. Watching the video, I didn't see a foul. He tried to lean into the defender but wasn't a foul. Good no call
  11. I must of missed that from the video, I saw all the coaches jumping up fist pumping celebrating. It's always easy for the winning coach to walk over and congratulate the losing teams coach. Just sayin lol
  12. I like the other better. You see the joy of victory and the agony of defeat. Watching the CV cheerleaders you can see the joy turn to disbelief in a fraction of a second. Sums sports up in a nutshell.
  13. Its on twitter. Amazing finish. Scott misses a 3 and they get the rebound and rattles in a 3 at the buzzer
  14. Great point about CCH's defense and what they usually do. I seriously think last year when CCH tried to face guard S McNeil the entire game and came up with a L to Cooper was a wake up call to Coach R where he learned S McNeil wasn't the only force he had to deal with. Actually I think that game specifically was the game that A Kunkel emerged as the threat that he is. You are 100% correct though that CCH's defense when they only have to shut down one stud and their opponents tend to not have an answer is the way they've gone since Coach R has been there. Teams deep in talent can give that type of D all kinds of trouble.
  15. It's called Defense, Defense, Defense. Even though people bring it up every year that Coach Sully always has one of the best defenses in the area as that is what he strives for, too many people take it as just a cliche or something. Everytime they shut down a player who is always a high scoring threat on the opponents team people always ask what happened or just assume he had an off night. It is Coopers defense that should get most of the credit game in and game out. You want to know why Walter had such a low scoring game? Credit goes entirely to Cooper's defense for putting that doubt in Walters head during the game. Apparently it sounds like Cooper purposely decided to play very physical against the big man and it worked.
  16. At least I finally will get to go and check that off my bucket list.
  17. This will be my first time going to the sweet 16 and am kind of pumped!
  18. Got my tickets for their Thur game next week
  19. I need to know when the Jags play because I'm headed to Lex!
  20. I was very interested in the outcome tonight after their first meeting being as close as it was without the McNeil boys in the lineup. 2 very good teams that represented NKY very well.
  21. Congrats to CCH for once again making another deep run. With the team as young as they have they will again be a favorite next year.
  22. Cooper has always depended on one of the best defenses in the area and it sounds like tonight their defense was firing on all cylinders. When you can hold CCH to 38 pts. That is impressive.
  23. Wow!!!! Can't get over how happy I am for that team!!!!!! I know the McNeil boys have been going down to the sweet 16 as fans ever since they were little and their dream to play at Rupp in the sweet 16 will now come true is awesome!!!!!! So happy for everyone of those players and Coach Sully. What a great way for Dante to finish his great High School Basketball career after a historic football career. Icing on the cake.
  24. Whoever said first one to 50 wins was spot on
