  1. The Final Score was 48-0. For those worrying about the Colonels future it looked pretty bright as well. Rowan Co. had a pretty nice line on both sides of the ball but need more skill guys. Pope and Snoop connected twice for TD's, Bourbon has another WR named Roberts to go along with Hilander which should keep teams from doubling up on Snoop. Marquaze Hill the Colonels RB was held out due to concussion symptoms, so was OL Lucas Rutledge from what I was told. Brent Holman carried most of the Colonels RB load throught out the varsity portion of the scrimmage. Dakota Mitchell was Dakota Mitchell-esque playing all over the field and racking up tackles. Hilander has slid over to safety where Hopkins played last season and Roberts is opposite Johnson at CB. Plenty of young Colonels that stood out were Edmonds, Duncan, Lucky, Thomas, Mendes.
  2. Pikeville - 2012-2013 Women's Basketball Coaching StaffYeah it's Billy!
  3. I had the privilege to attend the U.S. Army All-American Game this past season and seen some of the up and coming football technology they plan on using including a helmet that has things to keep track of brain waves, body heat, etc. Most of what I seen had to do with concussions and helmet to helmet contact including a helmet made of material that absorbs most of the shock can't remember the exact percentage.
  4. Sorry , I was at a Legends game. Watson's daughter only avergaed like 0.6 ppg last season at Johnson Central. Chanadie's name was mentioned in the article as likely not to return, but said it wasn't yet confirmed.
  5. Per Ivan Rice, and the Bourbon County Citizen. His daughter will leave Johnson Central and join the Colonels but the Colonels seem to have lost two key young pieces in Anovia Byars (as expected) and Chanadie Machal (either have yet to be confirmed).
  6. I'm guessing Juan her father may have taken a assistant position at Henry Clay. It's public knowledge when it's all over her twitter. Seems she is leaning toward joining the Blue Devils.
  7. I'm excited to see Madison Southern, went to see the Kentayvus Hopkins vs. Damien Harris matchup last season and Harris was injured. I'll hopefully check him out against Rockcastle Co. opening week. Danville under the new coaching staff, I'll check em out against Boyle Co. I wanna see how Paris youth has matured, Brian Washington usually does great things in years 2-3. I'll see them against Bethlehelm. Of course Bourbon County without Kentayvus Hopkins, can Pope, Johnson, Hilander, Mitchell, Holman, etc. carry the load? I'll see them againt Garrard Co. One player I can't wait to see is Laafayette's Kylan Nelson and I'll see him against Madison Central saw him against Henry Clay last year and kid looked good.
  8. How long ago was this guy a 16th region girls coach?
  9. HAHA! Kenneth True is fine where he is and will not even entertain the thought of coaching. Has no experience, although may entertain a starter position as a assistant to learn.
  10. I believe Jade is from what I was told, and it's a she. Jade played for Magoffin Co. and in the WABA now she's doing skills training, etc in the Lexington area. IMO Howard, is the best of the candidates.
  11. Heard another name in Colonels assistant Wendy Mahanna.
  12. Don't be surprised if Jade Howard is named the next HC at BC.
  13. None of the football players on the basketball team outside of Snoop are recruitable yet. But yes many other football players joined Snoop at the combine.
  14. My info said he assisted at GRC and his family owned WKYT which I thought was false because of the CBS stuff, but thought maybe they did because it's its own market.
  15. Former GRC assistant and I believe was helping Transylvania out. His family owns WKYT.
  16. I had never heard of Mr. Eades prior to the past two coaching searches at Bourbon, while he does bring experience I don't see Eades turning the program around.
  17. The name being thrown around is Bob Eades. Derrick Robinson applied and never was interviewed, Bourbon Co. really did him wrong. If indeed it is Eades it seems Bourbon administration has mailed it in with the basketball program.
  18. I mean he is a Bourbon Co. grad, Derek is not a teacher but from all I know he is qualified.
  19. Me personally, if I am Cox I don't touch the Bourbon Co. job. The administration needs to show that they're serious about basketball once again. The school has lost support for it's key event the Kentucky Bank Shootout and aren't pulling in crowds like they used to. Bourbon's best candidate is inside the system, ala Preston LeMaster but he's a year away from returning to the sidelines so I fully expect Derek Robinson to be the best hire for the school and everyone involved right now.
  20. BourboN Co. generally works very slowly with these things.
  21. Only name I'm hearing is Derek Robinson, former Colonel great who played at Western Kentucky.
  22. Any new info? I've heard Derek Robinson is the current leader of the pack.
