AvidTiger seems to enjoy the Trinity scrimmage win over HHS...Hmmm. When Trinity plays Lou. St. X that game will actually count. Now that is funny! Go Rocks! Fact is the Birds are playing Western and while they may be a very good team they will play against an excellent defensive team. If they win in Ft. Thomas they'll have earned it!

I would NEVER take any CCH team lightly any year...In a CCH vs HHS match-up I dont think either side relaxes until the game is over. The winning side is elated and the losers are sick!

Western has 45 players on the roster.

I'll take Boyle Co. By 7.

I read the entire thread. Jv. It said Highlands, not Ft. Thomas...If it said FT then that would include a majority of the NCC team. Also a very good team and that would make the all-star game a rout.

Not sure yet. I've been told Western is extremely quick. I saw they beat Lou. Male 18-3 Friday...I would think Western needs to score more than 18 to win in Ft. Thomas.

HHS vs. Kenton Co. Or Boone Co. All-stars has so many Ifs. 1. Who coaches these teams? 2. Does Boone have a healthy Travis Elliot? 3. Why not include CCH and Beechwood? They are in Kenton Co. Or was it Kenton Co. Schools? 4. Would the hypothetical game take place during the reg. Season or the typical all-star game window? 5. Are only current Highlands players allowed to play? 6. Would Pike be the QB for the Kenton all-stars?

If Trinity makes it through their unbelievable schedule they have a very legit claim to a national title!

Why is the game thread being used to go back and forth on who does or doesn't criticize / dislike /or love and support Coach Spritzky? I am a long time fan of high school sports in NKY and know plenty of fans from HHS and have never heard any hate os disdain directed towards Tom or his staff...I know some of them that years ago wish he had stayed at HHS to coach and teach...I think both teams play again next week! BTW-at least Dixie doesn't dodge Highlands like many NKY, Ky, and Cincy schools do... They were not required to play this year.

I feel bad for Pendleton too...KHSAA goes on a 2 year enrollment window and I think I heard no exceptions were given? Dale will not play score 100 on them...another sad thing is Pendleton plays CCH on homecoming and the Birds on senior night or vice versa. OUCH!

I am sure if you call the school bookstore they will sell tix in advance

The Trinity scrimmage is history and T won, but I'm fairly certain Dale stayed vanilla on O and the defense did the same. The coaches were not gonna fire all of their bullets to "win" a scrimmage, nor did they game plan like it was a real game. You know a film of that scrimmage was going to some of their future opponents, most notably Lou. Western which is no slouch...

I'm not sure Dixie will ever be up two scores, but one of the reasons they gave up 56 to CCH is Dixie looked tired in the 2nd half and the receivers for CCH were blowing by Dixie DB's...Highlands Should be ready and I think I heard they get a couple of their injured guys back. Guys who weren't available for Boyle.

Were there some new faces in the game for HHS tonite or was it about the same rotation as Trinity

I'd say15, maybe less and that includes the punter.
