  1. Sounded like the kid was going to NCC before he even showed up in the state. Maybe he got here and realized how many steps it was to get to school. That is a great recruiting point for HC over NCC. Works all the time
  2. He was at practice today.
  3. I would imagine he can go anywhere since he has not played a snap in tgis state. As fo him going to Holy Cross, he was not at practice yesterday. This is the only place that I have heard of this transfer talk. Has his parents moved to the area yet? Last I read on here was he was staying with other family until they did. Maybe they have moved somewhere in the Holy Cross area.
  4. I heard today that a kid from Conner did transfer to HC. Didnt catch is full name but Gene was his first name. I believe he plays db/wr but not sure.
  5. Wait for the pads. I wasnt real impressed with SK the last time I saw them in pads.
  6. I am suprised that Jalen Beal from Holy Cross is not mention. I believe by the time the senior year is here that list will change and have a few HC pkayers on it. It is exspected due to being from a small school who's success is just starting thou.
  7. Is the line going to be able to give them time to pass the ball? They looked good in the 7 on 7 vs Holy Cross but line play will change that success.
  8. Listed in perfect order. I got a history lesson at the Holy Cross football championship ceremony on this matter. When they first wanted football they were to told no because no money was available. They got backing from a supporter and started with assistance from the church. I will add that #3 was not the case for HC.
  9. The only transfer I have heard of this year has been a kid from Cov Cath. I forget his name but I was told he didnt play varsity last year so I would not consider him an impact play. Has pretty good size and looked to do well in the spring.
  10. Not saying it isnt true but I have not heard this. HC could always use some impact players but none have transfered in to my knowledge.
  11. Gabbard has been at HC all along.
  12. Conditioning starts today. We will get the first chance to see who put in the effort in the off season.
  13. That is goid for the basketball thread. I would bet he never had intentions of another sport for the last few years, let alone this one.
  14. Agree 100%. At this level no 1 player is going to win any team a game.
  15. Nothing is about the weather. Cooner (lol) should have a good year no question. But if you are looking for the weather to help you then your team has major holes. It will only help against smaller school and what good does that do your team? Conner should beat HC period. They as a 5a school should have no problem beating them, but they will, and they may loose. The fact that they could loose says more for HC than it does Conner.
  16. Saying it a factor. HC learned a lot in the first few games. Learned when they lost to Conner. The majority of this team was there to learn that and they will improve on it.
  17. The same people said the same things when Arlinghaus left the year before. Fuller was athletic and Gabbard is as well. Conners advantage will be the amount if players they have. Same as last year. A mid august game with the heat will only help Conner. Player for player HC wins. I still give the edge to HC if the heat not out of control.
  18. Any Breds fans that can give some insight to this years team?
  19. How can we not be excited? Coming off a state championship, returning alot of kids that were key players last year, and returning the co aching entire staff. HC lost a lot of players from last year but it was the coaching that won them the championship. They, will be able to teach, kids to replace the players. And I believe it will be on a new offense and defense. Russell has gotten bigger and better along with the rest of the line. It will be an exciting season.
  20. Is the post truthful or not. What kind of size will they have?
  21. What kind of size will NCC have on the line this year. I would like to know so I can add 2 inches and 30 lbs when I tell the HC boys the sizes. Lol. It never hurts.
  22. The qb you are reffering to played middle school ball last year. Will be a freahman this year.
  23. Are they going to be able to win on the line against HC?
