  1. Our basketball team always perplexed me. Coach Klein is an outstanding coach but the 11-15 on the team weren't always the best talent in the school.
  2. I'm an admitted homer, but if you put him on another team, his production sky rockets.
  3. These type of comments always perplex me. Do you mean a better high school basketball player? A better college prospect? He's more talented? I never know what people mean when they say this.
  4. Maybe I missed it, but where did I say or even imply he was as good a shooter as Rose? I'm almost positive I was advocating that he has the ability to shoot the three. In fact I said Rose is probably 20x better shooting the three than Spalding.
  5. Based on comments. The Henderson kid Simmons.
  6. I took it as him saying Spalding can't shoot the three, which I believe I was correct in believing.
  7. He is a horrendous free throw shooter.Though his jump shot has improved tremendously since last year, like the rest of his game. To judge him from last year isn't fair to his game. I'm not sure how many 3's he's taken this year though aside from the three vs oak ridge. I respectfully disagree in that he isn't a legitimate 3 point shooter. Rose is probably 20x a better shooter than Spalding but I just don't believe the sentiment that he can't shoot the three ball.
  8. Did you see my reaponse to you sir?
  9. He said " He is a legit 3-point weapon playing the 5, unlike Spalding and Holman." To me this is implying he doesn't shoot the three well. Thus mentioning his skill set. I wasn't comparing any part of either of their games, just saying if he doesn't think Spalding can shoot then he hasn't seen his full skill set showcased.
  10. See my earlier post in regards to Mr. Basketball. He isn't deserving of this award at this time, I and many others have admitted that. I asked that question because he mentioned a piece of his skill set; he probably doesn't know his whole skill set because he watched him play a high school basketball game. Thus me asking the question.
  11. Man. This guy must be the stud of all studs then. He does everything the top players in the state do, but better. Sounds like a heck of a prospect. Side note: have you seen Spalding play outside of Trinity?
  12. Spin. This is what would cause me to "blow a gasket". The constant misspelling of the name Spalding.
  13. Different thread my brother.
  14. I'm all good. He's not deserving of it right now, so I'm all for someone else winning it. That's not to say he won't rebound in the rest of the season but as of now, he doesn't deserve it. I wouldn't mind Sutton or Perry winning. If he played at another school, he would probably be right in the thick of things.
  15. Who of those did you mention, were you saying had no outside game?
  16. Ok. Glad to know we arent on the same page.
  17. Hate that Spalding and Holman have to play center in high school. Never get to showcase their full skill sets.
