Wow! That is incredible. After all that, one thing I noticed that was interesting is the two teams in the finals had the most turnovers. I guess this is only because they both had 1 more game than everyone else. That is a mind blowing collection of stats though.

Congratulations to the Lady Tigers! They dominated some pretty good and well coached basketball teams. Looking forward to seeing them at BB&T in a little over a month.

Congratulations to Kylie and her family! What a blessing to be able to continue playing ball, especially at a top notch program. May she have a tremendous basketball career and more importantly, get a GREAT education! This is awesome.

I think what makes Murray so good is the fact that in addition to their length, speed, skill and athleticism. They have all the parts. As a team they are put together with all the different pieces 1-5 and bench. Even more than that they are very unselfish on offense, very discipline on defense, and very well coached.

I would think that Murray may defend davenport similar to how they defended Walton Verona's Ison. Using a zone to build a wall to keep her from penetration and double teaming at all times to force the ball out of her hands. In short, I am sure Murray knows they have to do something to keep her from rolling. If new Cath can keep from turning the ball over as much as Walton did then they can maybe keep it close. If Murray shoots like they did yesterday, imo, it's lights out for the Breds. Walton seemed to hang better with Murray when they pressed and sped the pace up in the third quarter so maybe new caths ability to play that style will help them. I could be wrong on all counts... I'm just rambling.

Hmmm. I said in preseason that Campbell looked to be the top team in the 10th. I guess for now, they are.

Walton Verona's for sure! I have rarely seen a student body as supportive to their girls basketball team as Walton Verona's. The school sold all 300 tickets Thursday in a couple of hours. I planned on stopping by there on my lunch break to get some, but they were gone by 10am. And all of them were in Frankfort Friday dashed in neon.

I think the free throw attempts kind of says why coach clink got t'd up at one point.

Yes they are. Congrats to Murray and I will now expect them to win this entire thing. I'm a fan now....temporarily. Congrats to the Bearcats on their run while here. Very thankful for the opportunity those girls received being able to play in this venue and environment and win a game to get another shot. AND A HUGE SHOUT OUT to the Walton fans and student section. The support at Walton Verona is unique and tremendous. I know those girls and coaches appreciate it. I know I do.

Murray is all that and a bag of chips. If they shoot the way they did today and stretch the floor with all their length, I doubt anyone in this tournament can beat them.

I noticed from the program last night that the 2012 final between Walton Verona and Newport Catholic was the only overtime final in the ALL A history.
