The mistake you are making, is that you are equating fans to players. To put it nicely, you are silly if you believe that the players are "playing for next season." I know you know this, and that you are just attempting to stir the pot, but this was just a downright weak attempt, with impressively minimal effort to do so. You're better than this.

You're right, they didn't want to play Simon Kenton during those years, so they played little schools like Colerain and Cincy St. X, among other notably better teams than Simon Kenton. Also, the fact that you referred to those years as the Miles Simpson era is pretty funny.

Heck, after going toe to toe with the future super bowl champion Simon Kenton pioneers we've been hearing about for the past 2 months, I'll take our chance against the Purples.
