  1. I'd have to respectfully disagree on your comment that says the Mr. Football award has been 90% popularity and 10% actual ability. Just looking at the last 4 years, the winners were James Quick, Patrick Towles, Lamar Dawson, and Antonio Andrews. I guess people think it's about popularity because usually the BEST players in the state get the most publicity.
  2. I'm just glad the state championship is going to a public school... I think diversity is good for the state. Hopefully this will encourage more kids to stick to the public school route instead of feeling like they have to go to Trinity to win a state championship.
  3. Congratulations to HHS, they have a great team. Just don't understand the lack of class by a team who is the bell cow of NKY and is on their way to their 7th straight championship.
  4. Just about as classy as numbers 30 and 11 cheap shotting players all night. Oh and number 30 taunting the CCH coaches. Give me a break.
  5. Bye bye Ukfan. It was nice knowing you... Well kind of.
  6. I thought Feggins was D1? Had 2 catches for 20 yards with 3 huge drops. Guess he can't handle the big stage
  7. Probably talking about the state.
  8. Exactly my point. Just look at the size of the line Barker had to play behind. He literally outweighed them all and was chased around half of the time. Not knocking their line at all because I'm sure they worked very hard and tried their best but those are just the facts.
  9. He never played on a team the caliber of BG either. Of course he had to play all of the minutes in most of his games.
  10. No, they lost 31-30 to Anderson County. However, blude stated that he never made it past the second round which is false.
  11. Barker played in the region championship in 2011.
  12. Agreed. Just find it very hypocritical and asinine.
  13. Does anyone else think it's hilarious that "uk#1fan" hates Drew Barker?
  14. Were you at the game?
  15. 5 playoff wins the last 5 years with 5 VERY talented teams. No excuses. We can nitpick all we want. Just didn't get it done. For the first tme in quite some time I think there is a serious question mark at QB next year. Getting ahead of myself but I'll be curious to see how the team does.
  16. Tough to fire the Boone County Sheriff
  17. Tough loss. Good luck to Anderson.
  18. And Conner returns the next kickoff. 21-14
  19. Yes and Conner's 1st team didn't play past halftime vs the two teams you mentioned. I also see an undefeated 6A team in SK, a very good 6A team in Campbell County, and a power in Covington Catholic. You can't name the best teams Anderson plays and the worst teams Conner plays. Mercer County is a stretch as a good team. For Conner, 4 6A teams on the schedule to start the season. But what I really meant was that Anderson hasn't seen a passing attack close to Conner's. Much like Purple Pride said, what is so special about Anderson's offense that makes it "unique?" What has Conner not seen that Anderson brings? I believe this will be a very close game, but Anderson's offense is NOT unique.
  20. What's so unique about AC's offense other than playing poor competition?
  21. I saw 7:30 somewhere but I'm not 100%
  22. Why did Anderson struggle so much against Cooper in the first half?
  23. I believe he is taller and outweighs every single one of his lineman. Not making excuses, just stating that you should look at the talent around a player before you make a judgement on their game.
  24. He is not being recruited to or by UK. Move on.
