  1. What is the story behind this job? It should be an intriguing job for someone.
  2. I cannot understand why people are so against this system. Who does it hurt? If your a one seed and you dominate a four seed, great. It's another week of practice and your JV kids get on-field work in a playoff game. If you get dominated what the hell, chances are you have been dominated before and its an extra week of practice and a little more gate money. Most of the people that are against it insist on the importance of spring ball when most schools dont have all their players there at that time. At least post-season provides all kids on those teams an opportunity for more practice. Most teams get more practice, more revenue and an extra week of football, oh the madness.
  3. I agree on Monroe County. I think they have the makings of a post-season run.
  4. I see Scott Co. putting this one away rather handily in the second half.
  5. Guru- Having seen WC's defense first hand I tend to agree that it will keep this game close. The question is whether or not th e wing-t can exploit the Purples defense enough. I was scouting the game last year and watched an undermanned Central team beat them so I have no prediction on this one.
  6. Coach Mckee has the Cards playing well. Scott Co. takes this one 34-13.
  7. I have a crazy thought; maybe Glasgow just has a better team than Monroe. Maybe there were not many coaching adjustments that could have made a difference. A lot of teams teams get a big lead back off in coverage and the other team is able to march down the field rather easily. This can make it seem like it cold have worked all night, but that may not have been the case. I spoke to an impartial asst. coach at the game and he said the Scotties overwhelmed them with athletes and speed. The Falcons have lost a ton of talent over the past two years and to expect not to have at least a little let down is wishful thinking.
  8. DragonFire- I honestly believe with Central's defense the game against the Purples will be a classic. I would have thought the final against Greenwood would have been but they have fallen apart. I see the Dragons making a lot of noise in the playoffs this year.
  9. I would have loved to have seen the birth certificate on number 93. I do love to see these old pics.
  10. Is the Highland's field as close to the building as it appears in the pictures? I will see a game there someday hopefully.
  11. Thanks guys- these are some awesome pics. Belfry's and Trinity's are state of the art. I also love seeing the old historic ones. If anyone has ever seen Russellville's stadium it also extremely unique. I assume the Simon Kenton pics included an indoor facility.
  12. As an avid fan of Ky. High School football, different stadiums are always an interest of mine. Every time I visit a town across the bluegrass I try to make time to drive by and look at football facilities. Would you tech- savvy folks mind posting pictures of your local stadiums?
  13. Do or die for the Gators. Central Hardin is always well-coached,but I feel the Gators will put the last couple of weeks behind them and pull out the close one 21-20.
  14. I will take the falcons in a shootout. They are becoming tough to beat this time of year.
  15. I would have to make Allen the prohibited favorite at this point. They are really strong this year.
  16. Scott Co. will probably win this region. Jim Mckee is, without a doubt, one of the best coaches in the state.
  17. Russellville continues their dominance of this district.
  18. It's funny how folks pick against Greenwood in this district and all they do is continue to win.
  19. Dragonfire- have you heard anything going on at Greenwood as far as assistant coaches are concerned?
  20. Collins will continue their offensive onslaught and win 45 21.
