  1. Boone Co. won but HC is definatly the better team. The team didn't play to their strength. If BC loses this week to Scott Co. and HC thumps them what will you say then?
  2. I think Henry Clay playeed to Boone Co. level. I strongly feel that Henry Clay was the better team and didn't play to their strengths. I've had the oppertunity to watch them practice and play all season and what I saw last Friday was far from par. Not to take away or disrespect Boone Co. but Henry Clay didn't show up. My hat is off to Boone co for the way the simplified a gameplan and stuck to it. If Henry clay used there speed more and fix all the mental errors they would have won that game. Don't count the Devils out.

  4. I think Henry Clay beat themself this past week against BC. Yes Boone is a solid team, but Henry Clay seemed to hold a lot back. The whole game they didn't really unlease the speed they possessed. When they did they showed that they were on a different level. If Scott has the speed of Henry Clay and use it I think they will handle the onesided offence. All they do is run up the gut, have one reverse, and a slant pass. That isn't going to work in my oppinion agaist Scott co. Scott 28-14
  5. I saw the way the Cards played against Bryan Station and saw how they went to a totally different level in the second half. This is a team fighting with a lot of emotion which I feel will be seen on Friday. To this team's credit, they have pulled together to overcome the most difficult obsticle which is death and I truely think this has made them a stronger team. It makes me proud to be a former Cardinal. It is also very touching to see how MC has raised money for Mykal, which is a class act but the coach and community. There is something to be said about high school football in Kentucky. GRC 35-21

  11. I agree GS, should be very emotional game and season. I hope they can all pull together as a unit and win this for Mykal. God is with Mykal and the Cardinal family. Win one for Myk.

  14. I'm blessed to know Mykal from on and off the football field. He is a giant in so many ways, whether it his faith, leadership, or athletic skills. I know he has inspired many and will pull though with the help of God. All my prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friend. As a former teammate all my love goes out to him and the family.
