Even if its prohibited, can you fault a parent for a move like that, (if there was not any recruiting by the other school).

If the kid and his parents feel that he can become a better baseball player, and have a better chance getting a college sholareship at another school, maybe thats why they would move. Isn't that what a parent should be thinking about, whats best for there family(kid)?

Engineer, either you didn't understand what i was trying to say or I don't understand what you are saying, I think the best way to get noticed, unless you are a high level D1 or pro propect is to go the rout of summer and fall ball and showcases. Is that what you said or do you think the good player(D2, D3 or NAIA) will get noticed by just playing HS ball in the spring?

That statement is not true anymore, college coaches don't have the money in there budgets or time,(when they are in the middle of their own season) to go see a HS game and see one player, when they can go to a showcase or large summer or fall tournament and see 50 to 100 talented HS kids. Its just the way its done now.

Boyle by 3 TDs, they are a much better team. Boyle would have to have a complete meltdown Friday for them to lose. Lex Cath can't go any further in the playoffs without more juniors and seniors. You have to have the older kids to compete against the really good teams.

NKY is not the only area that should be proud of Conner, all of Kentucky should be proud of him. Its great to have a kid from KY going to play QB at Harvard and be on a national TV show. Conner and his family will make the state of KY look good! Congrats Conner and good luck from Central KY.

I was there also, its hard to imagine the number of scouts unless you see it. They are in golf carts flying around the complex trying to see as many players and games as they can. And its not just 1 scout per MLB team or 1 coach per college, there are many from each. Its really something.

Hatz we will have to agree to disagree on this one. But I hope most people don't think the same way PurplePride92 thinks, there is something called SPORTSMANSHIP. I would hate to see the coaches in other sports at Catholic think like PurplePride92, how would it be if in boys basketball, the coach kept his starters in late in the 4th, and continued to press and run up the score just because Boyle wasn't...."on our Level" or the baseball coach continued to steal and play his starters in the late innings because Boyle needed to..."get on our level". Its a good thing they don't think that way, cause coaches do talk to each other and "payback is b*tch"

Yea all the scores in the 4th against LCA were by freshman, and the last was by by freshman who had never been on the field in a varsity game. He broke 4 or 5 tackles on a dive play straight up the middle and took it 65 yard for the TD. They were not even JV kids, Freshmen. And as far as being "not happy" I was just out on a friday night watching a football game with one of the best high school teams in the state playing, I didn't even have a kid on the field, so beleive me I didn't lose any sleep>

Boyle DOMINATED all areas of the game. They controlled both sides of the line, plus their run game set up the pass game perfectly. Boyle has a very good defense that was always around the ball and never let Catholics passing game get off the ground. You could tell Boyle was by far the better team. The only problem I had, Boyle held a 35-3 lead late in the 4th, with complete control of the game, and they still had their 1st team offense on the field and didn't sub until after another score. That tells me that Boyles coach was trying to run up the score. I hate seeing this from a from a very good and well coached team.

It wasn't 4 errors, it was 8.

As of last weekend when the Hempels were in Lex, they had not made up mind yet.

The team is the KBC 16u blue, the Valentine kid is on the white team, the Nky kid is Hempel from Ryle, but I'm not sure he is going to play, every kid on the team starts on his varsity team. Kids include Johnson from Apollo, Mcquerry from GRClark, Jackson and Armstrong, plus 2 more from Lex Cath, Combs and Bolmer from Bryan Station, 3 from Tates Creek, 2 from Lafayette, 2 from Madison Central.

The Kentucky Baseball Club 16U team is top ten national ranked and #1 Perfectgame ranking. The team is made up of kids from central Ky, with a NKY kid and a kid from Apollo.
