I just don't see the teaching value in an up down? Other than a great way to punish a 15 - 17 yr old kid or cause a shoulder injury, which has taken place more than once @ Ryle. I hope that the coaches can find a better way to address the shortcommings that took place last night. I never suggested blame but a true leader is shoulder to shoulder with their troops. You win and lose as a team, which includes coaches. You can't teach anything when your angery.

I wonder if the coaches will do those up downs along with the players?? I'm sure they will not!

IMO Stanford is going to sneak in and have him on the West Coast next year! But that's just a guess from an uninformed person. He wants a chance at a championship and a top education. There's only 2 schools that have a chance at that and only one of them can do both! Just a guess!! Come Feb. we will all know anyway. It will be fun to see who was correct. Stanford is my guess. Regardless he we will do very well where ever he goes.

Great news for Austin and his family!!

It could and can be a no win situation for a coach's son. I hope for his sake that he ends up a superstar or they take their time getting him into the rotation. As it was with Tubby Smith it didn't seem like his son could do anything right while on the court. I wish the Raiders the best with whoever is on the court. Regarless there is a lot of talent on the bench as there was last year. There is no reason why they are not one of the top teams around.
