Im talking about kids who quit and do NOTHING. Yes kids who quit in HS are still kids and shouldnt make the decison either. Too many variables to let them decide, from girlfriends, to friends who are quitters too, etc.

The kids are being made into PANSY kids by mommies and mamaws. Most dads dont have guts to stand up to their wives and let their kids play. Another problem is parents let the kids decide what they want to play and if they want to quit. Kids are not capable of decisions anymore. Parents should not let kids quit, it teaches them that quitting is easy.

Kids this day and time see football as too hard and would rather stand in the outfield or wait 2 days for their turn to pitch or go inside to the air indoors gym and shoot basketball where a slap is a foul. Football is too hard for kids now, too many mommies and scardy cat daddies are making a world full of pansie boys.

Does the new coach have to be atheist so as to please a few. If he isn't what a shame that he or she will be afraid to mention God or dare mention a prayer after practice or game or for an injured player.

If a kid plays baseball or runs track and misses spring football, Im going to be willing to bet the coach already knows if the kid is going to be a good player or starter. This IMO wont hurt his chances at starting.

So maybe the KHSAA should pander to the masses instead of small numbers of AAU. It all comes down to money some how. It would be great for a few football teams to have a scrimmage vs another team and charge admission and concessions to make a little extra money for the budget.

I dont know why football cant do 7-7 in June and July. I mean if your guys cant be there due to an AAU game or baseball game then play with another kid. Its not like you have to schedule a 7-7 game anyway. Many coaches never even do 7-7.

AND, the last time I checked Kentucky isn't exactly churning out D1 basketball players as much as they are football players. I would be willing to bet that baseball in Ky sends more D1 players than basketball. But yet people still consider this a basketball state.

Cost of these things stop people or families from going. Say a family of 4 wants to go. You are looking at a lot of money for tickets alone. Gas Food Lodging if necessary Ticket price

Not UK They don't even do clinics for HS coaches anymore. How in the world do they expect to show what they got or know to HS coaches to get kids more excited

Better play as much as possible because when you graduate from HS, you may not get to play again.
