Stop trying to deflect off of the weakness of Highlands schedule. IMO, Manual, Trinity and St. X have the toughest schedules in the state of Kentucky. There really is no comparisons in this state. Just the facts.

The better question is, would Highlands go undefeated vs. Manual's schedule? I think not. As far as Highlands schedule, I would concede the Cinci St. X game but don't think anyone else on the schedule would cause much concern!

Highlands beating Cinci St. X is the same concept as Boise State beating Oregon and becoming a BCS Bowl team. Put Boise State in the SEC or Big 12 and let's see what their record would be. It's easy to get up for one power on your schedule, it's totally different when you have to do it 4 or 5 times!

Here's guessing that Bryan Station will hire Michael Allen. (He's friends with the infamous John Barnes - Asst. Principal) After all, he did such a great job with the Bryan Station girls (17-41) and the Frankfort boys. (13-40)

I'd venture a guess that results might be a tad different if Highlands and Manual swopped schedules?

Appreciate your observations. Yes, Trinity was down but to say Ryle was better is probably a reach. Not a big fan of comparing scores but here goes. St. X over Ryle 66-17 St. X over Trinity 32-7 St. X over Trinity 34-10 St. X over Manual 28-21

Deductive reasoning robdigity! It would appear that some are patting Highlands on the back for having scheduled Trinity, in a scrimmage. Well, how about actually playing them in a regular season game, along with St. X, and Male, and Colerain, etc... Now, that's a schedule!

Highlands should try a schedule like Manuals. The fact is that Coach Lucas had to build a program from scratch. In year 3 he had Highlands beat with a minute to go. The Highlands coach was very gracious after the game in attesting to the fact that they hadn't been tested like that in quite some time. Fortunately for the new coach, he will be taking over a program in a much different position than the one that Coach Lucas took over. I heard that Peoples made a recommendation to the Superintendent and he turned it down.

Power + incompetence = Fire Coach Ligon (State Coach of the Year in Basketball 07-08) Power + incompetence = No support for Coach Lucas (Did wonders in turning around Station's Football program and is now at Manual)

Are you serious? Would they really hire a coach who went 0-9 and lost to Bryan Station 42-0? That administration must be an absolute mess! First they pull the ultimate blunder by firing their boys basketball coach and the superintendent makes them bring him back. He proceeds to go 30-3 and is named coach of the year in the state. Next they don't support their football coach Lucas. He did a tremendous job of turning around the program and rightfully gets rewarded by being named head coach at Manual. I really feal for those kids at Bryan Station! That school could be so much more with a legitimate administration.

You might want to get a look at Serena Sandusky-Frosh-Bryan Station. I haven't seen all the young ladies listed above but I would be willing to say she as good as any of them and better than most!

Are you serious? Ligon was the Kentucky State Coach of the Year just 2 years ago. Bryan Station has averaged 23 wins a season over the last 5 years.
