Good news/Bad news post. First the bad news. I have never witnessed 2 individual trolls act in a fashion toward young men as i witnessed tonight. Two rather large women from Boyle County were acting in a way that i felt ashamed of if they had been Bell County fans. 1 troll pointing her rather large fingers into the face of a young man that had just played the game of his life and saying very insulting things too him. The other large troll yelling toward our players disgusting things that will be left out of these comments. Now i know Bell has their fair share of obnoxious fans and I would not condone these actions toward any young man that has just played this type of game after giving it his all to try to win. Shame on these 2 people and hopefully they will be shown how their actions looked too all who witnessed it. The sad part was these were "adult" women. Shame on you. Now the good news. My hats off to the Boyle County fans and players. I talked to a few of you after the game and the players for Boyle, #74,#2 and #5. These are very classy players you have and great young men. You guys played your hearts out for both teams and thank you from a fan that witnessed such a great game. Bell County, my hats off too you. Great game tonight. Now lets remember this next year when it comes around again. Let em bring the "sawmill" to Log Mountain, but i guarantee you the blades won't be sharp enough to do anything.

1. Boyle Co.(#1 all season the pressure is on the Rebels) 2. Bell Co.(#2,3 or 4 during the season, underdogs in all sense from here on out) 3. Lone Oak(I didn't give them respect through the season and goes to show i was wrong) 4. Marion Co.(which i think will be a surprise team to possibly win it all, if Bell loses thats who i am pulling for.)

Yes charlesw88 this really does work, especially 30 minutes before the game. Thats what all Super Bowl teams do before the game, i looked this up for the last 10 super bowl winners........i think he's buying it so far......It does work well for ALL teams and shouldn't have any adverse affects what so ever...:puke:.....TURKEY IS GOOD FOR REBELS.....I think they bought it.

Yes i think Raines was in the hospital too. I just mentioned Pack, but their are others on the LC team that i think are quality players as well as young men. I think that the young men that did get thrown out of the game are exceptional athletes that just were caught up in the moment. Who hasn't let things like that happen at one point or another and did things that were later regretted. I don't know these young men but the one thing that as a Bell fan i would like to say. Don't let anyone or one moment in time define what happens with your life, you guys have the abilities to go on to college with your talents. This happened in the heat of a game and ALL who were their got caught up in the moment. IMO Lawrence is, was and all ways will be a well coached team. I met some of the Lawrence County fans at the game and imo are some very nice and classy people. Bell and Lawrence both have some fans that are obnoxious and take away from the game. All the kids or young men that played last night were apart of a good game and the emotions of winning or defeat played high in what they both were working for and what they put in countless hours preparing for. I think Lawrence will be a good team and hopefully this game made them want to work harder in the off season to get back to another game of this nature. Good luck Bulldogs in the offseason. What a turnaround from 0-11 to 12-1 in only one season. My hats off to you.

Your right Stick1, the defense was the difference in the ballgame. Lawrence County has a lot to be proud of with the turn around with their program. It showed the players did a LOT of hard work in the off season to improve their game. I like that resolve in your team, they are a hard nosed team that IMO should be in the top 4 in the state in class 4A. If one of our coaches did do that, and i'm not saying they didn't because i wasn't with them the whole game, they should have been thrown out like the 2 players from Lawrence. Their is no reason to be doing things of that nature. Be it a coach or player, the officials did let talk go on too much in the game IMO and a warning plus penalties should have been thrown earlier to get better control of the game. Good game last night though other than the last few minutes of the game and both teams other than a few showed class. The running back from Lawrence, i think his name was Pack. Very good athlete and showed a lot of class. I hope that this game can be put behind and hope to see you guys next year in the playoffs again.

Not to beat a dead horse or anything: phantom flag, i was close to where the play happened. You can't curse the official or throw a punch while on top of a kid that has been tackled. That was my observation and i was close to the play. Now onto the coach that was supposedly cursing the LC players......not sure where you were standing at during the game, but i was close to that sideline of the game and all the coaches were giving instructions to the Bell players only. That is a stupid statement to make toward a coach. First if any coaches from Bell heard another coach saying the things that you said, they would tell them to be quiet and talk to their own players. It was an ugly situation during the last part of the game. Please don't make stupid statements like what you accused of without knowing what you are talking about. The fact of the matter is, both teams played well. The tensions were high from the talking going on leading up to the game and Lawrence came in ready to play as well as Bell. This was a few kids that lost their cool in the game and things got out of hand. Congrats Lawrence on a great season and keep up the good work in the off season. GO GET EM BOBCATS

my score prediction: Bell 14 Boyle 7. Probably in OT. Hard Hitting great defensive game.......Just hope both teams don't get too many bumps and bruises for the following week, whoever wins the game. Good luck Bobcats and Rebels. GO GET EM CATS

Of course i would take a blowout by Bell...:banana: But i don't see it happening. I think it will be a last possession type ball game, and would be surprised if either team wins by more than 7 points. I can't wait for the game next week and which ever team does win, if it is Boyle, i will be pulling for whichever team does come out of the game the winner to win the championship game. Can't wait to be in a great game atmosphere next friday night. Just be sure to tell all the Boyle Co. players to eat plenty of turkey and dressing thursday and friday, for it makes them want to play football more.......

I think this game will be a war....both are very good teams. I'm not going to predict a score yet, maybe later in the week. But both teams have good players on both sides of the ball and this game could go either way for either team. Just to say congratulations to both Bell and Boyle on a great season and whoever wins this one just win the Championship.

The game was a very tension filled game, both teams played very hard. It could have gotten worse then it did but the officials and coaches from both sides took things under control. Lots of respect for the Lawrence County players, coaches and fans. Congratulations on a good season Lawrence.......Now lets go get em Bobcats, its time for Boyle Co.

Thanks SARR, yea i finally went and looked up the stats for Lawrence Co. :walk: I think it will be a good game friday night.

IMO i think this will be one of the better games in the state....I pick Boyle to win 21-14..but it could go either way. Good luck to both teams friday night.

One question, Is Lawrence County a run oriented team or passing team? I know i should do my homework on this one but it takes too much time to point and click my mouse.....

Who wins and why?

Yes the Rock has fallen on hard times, but i think the next few years the Rock will be back. And also the last few years Bell has had some very good teams to contend with plus others in the district.
