Owensboro Catholic was practically at Bowling Green, and NCC traveled 4 hours in the state title game last year. Look at that result, NCC won 42-0. I think the only advantage Glasgow has is Holy Cross will be extremely nervous, this is an all new stage for them, and I'm interested to see how they handle it. Holy Cross wins by 3+ TD's for their first state title. I have no doubt this will be an emotional game for HC. After achieving all they have this year, there's literally no way can lose. This HC is playing WAY over their talent level. I would speculate at this point that they would beat BW in a rematch. Good luck to both teams, and hopefully it'll be a clean game.

Also, the offense has found a way to exploit some pretty good defenses. Bottom line is, Holy Cross has a great game plan for the playoffs. I can tell you now they out-coached NCC, and I would assume they did tonight as well.

As I said, last week was the 2A state title game. HC has found a way to maintain a high powered offense, and this is the success you are being able to see. Not to mention their defense is stepping up.

I'm pretty sure we saw the state title game tonight. The Breds didn't come prepared, and Holy Cross took advantage. Slants, Flats, and screens all night. If that's all you have to do though, why not. I wish Holy Cross the best of luck, and hope they take home state.

You are right that makes sense, regular season games determine who wins a state championship not how they play in the playoffs and NCC took their game to a whole new level when the playoffs started and wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened this year. You know nothing about this rivalry clearly. History in this rivalry almost always had the loser in regular season winning in the playoffs or going further in the playoffs because of different classes and vice versa.

Ryle had 262 rushing yards against Newcath. Ryle had 286 rushing yards against Highlands. Are you saying Newcath couldn't have played with Highlands because Ryle ran on them? Because it seems they did the same to Highlands.
