Congrats to St. X. They were the best team in KY this year. At least in 6A.

Matter of fact. Four years ago lived in Edgewood. My oldest went to school with Jack Collinsworth. My youngest went to school with Beau Hodge. I use to root for Highlands until moving down here. Now we are in the Trinity family.

Just a prediction. Nothing more.

Enjoy the tie Bluebirds, we will win the next three years.

It wasn't the KHSAA's choice to leave Louisville. The Big East told UL to hold next Friday open in case UL was involved in a big game(ha..ha). The KHSAA thought it was impossible to hold all six games on Saturday. They needed a venue open Friday and Saturday. WKU stepped up. It's a shame UK or EKU couldn't have offered.

The best freshman I ever saw was Scott Draud. In the eighth grade we (Tichenor) actually beat his Turkeyfoot team which never lost. I believe we held Draud to 33. He averaged about 50.

No official reason given by the university.

You can have the practice but you can not advertise the practice before the season starts. After the season starts you can advertise off campus practices. Indiana just did the same thing in Sellersburg(sp?). Practice is Nov. 1st.

This is a great opportunity for high school players and coaches to learn from a top Division 1 program.

Do not count Trinity out of the state final yet. But I like X's chances.

As far as passing goes I don't know what game the radio guys were watching. B.G. didn't get close to the end zone with a run or pass all night. The only time they crossed the 50 in the second half was on the last play when time ran out.

Thanks Offside for the clarification. I do not like the mark off rule if the penalty is the same for both teams. Apparently Beatty did not know either because he was given the referee a lot of stick after the mark off.

Well it worked for B.G. tonight. They were dishing out crap all night and finally a player for Trinity lost his composure and hit back. If a team is driving on you anyway, why not give it a shot. If the other player retaliates you push them back. It is not going to work everytime but once could make a difference.

During the Trinity/Bowling Green game there was an off setting personal foul call while Trinity had the ball on the B.G. 11. The refs maked off half the distance on B.G. and then the full 15 against Trinity giving B.G. a net gain of 9 yards. If I'm on defense why wouldn't I try to get penalties like this all the time where I will surely gain yards? By the way B.G. was constantly grabbing and pushing after the whistle. Not very classy.

Another Trinity fan here who gives Highlands his vote.

Hopefully, this will inspire Lloyd and they will be very strong the rest of the way.

I said parties not player. The step-mother said he was feeling ill that morning. He should have been kept home from practice.

I think that is fair. I feel sorry for the Gilpin family. I believe that fault lies with both parties.
