I love Highlands football, but St. X 35 Birds 14. I hope I am wrong! .

My friends 15 year old son nailed a 12 pointer on Sat. night.They tracked it well into the night but lost the blood at 2am.Went back at first light,got back on their hands and knees and found him at 10:30am just as it started to rain! The deer had covered 3 farms,made a big circle and met his maker 50 yards from where he was shot!All the odds were against finding him.Dark blood,barely leaving a blood trail and heavy rain due at any time.Everybody was happy for the kid and glad to see a fine specimen not go to waste.It will look nice next to the massive 10 pointer he killed when he was 9.

Any radio broadcast of the game?If so what station?

I'm stuck out here in Pendleton Co. where football is a bad joke that no one talks about! I'm starving for info on my beloved Birds! Could one of you feel sorry for my ignorance and explain 7on7 to me? Why 7 ?How do we get a solid look at all positions with 7? I'm sure it is a good training tool, but to be honest I've never heard of it till resently. I'm going to try to make it to the 7on7 tomorrow, but would like to have a basic understanding of the concept first.

New guy here.How's everybody doing!I'm an old birds fan that has few computer skills and has never communicated on the net.I have enjoyed looking at this tread and have finally been able to find information about the upcoming season.You folks have got me pumped about this group of kids!Thanks!I went to highlands years ago but have always followed the Birds.Go to games when I can,and try my best to make the state finals.I was on the team but was to slow to start,but loooooved busting heads with some very tough kids!It was a great experience that made basic training a piece of (CAKE)!Other men would ask me,how can you take this misery so easily!How can a short,fat boy like you run 2 miles without walking some of it!I would say with pride that I came from Ft. Thomas Highlands football,and a double session in death valley made this look like cub scout camp!Please forgive me for not having much to add,you guys are my only source of information.I have lived in Pendleton Co. for over 20 years.I would love to watch a practice but don't know if it is permited,it used to be frowned upon.Thanks again!

Let me insert some good old common sense from an old country boy who seems to be able to see though the smoke and mirrors when others can't.Obama is one of the best con men the world has ever seen.Replace the face that weak minded people have fallin in blind love with.Change it to the head of a venomous snake selling his own snakeoil to a group of folks who don't know any better.He promises it will cure all and because he is such an expert con man he is able to sell his garbage to unsuspecting well meaning people.But a few old and wise people in the back can see whats happening to there neighbors and try to talk them out of it.The snake hears what the wise ones are doing and insists the oil must be sold before the August recess!Some of you are acting like blind sheep being lured to the slaughterhouse by the snake,and the wise ones are being dragged unwillingly along.Chew on that for a while my friends!
