  1. Not time to hit the panic button at Creek. Those three games were anything but fullly manned; Fucci is resting his players before the district.
  2. From what I understand, LC is going with Devon Williams.
  3. Myles Potter from Tates Creek. He is a scrapper.
  4. Creek simply has Catholic on the mind.
  5. Who have their loses came to?
  6. Since 2003, the worst a team has done coming out of this district is the state final four, which happened last year with Lexington Catholic
  7. Personally, I believe the best all around player in the state is Trevor Gott. Unfortunatley, he is only a junior and isn't even eligible for the award. He's given up 1 (not a typo, ONE) earned run in 25 innings pitched and has racked up 37 K's. He's also batting around .420. Mind you, he plays for Tates Creek and sees top-notch competition day in, and day out.
  8. Maile's the real deal, isn't he?
  9. Anyone know who pitched for LCA?
  10. What's the story with this one?
  11. Who do you see coming out of this one?
  12. Remember, due to Lexington public schools not playing Lexington Catholic, the seedings for this tournament are determined through a blind draw. Out of the past six years, four state champions have come out of this district, with another, Lafayette, taking runner-up in 2004. This is hands down the state's toughest district. SEEDS 1) Lexington Christian Academy (#2 in KY) 2) Lexington Catholic (#9 in KY) 3) Tates Creek (#3 in KY) 4) Paul Laurence Dunbar 5) Lafayette (#24 in KY) Winner of #4 and #5 game will play LCA, who recieved the first round bye. Winner of #2 and #3 game will play the winner of the game above. THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!!!!!
  13. Creek threw a sophmore, Devin Jackson, and he went 5 1/3 of brilliant ball for the win. Ryan Fucci finished it off and also got three of creek's seven hits. Eastern threw Clements, who also threw a very good game.
  14. Isn't he committed to U of L?
  15. Tates Creek defeated LCA last week 3-0 in a one hit shutout and gets jumped by them the next poll? Also, Creek defeated Daviess Co. 16-2. The same Daviess Co. to up end Apollo
  16. I believe the drawing for the 43rd will be held on Sunday May, 10th
  17. Where is this game, and at what time?
  18. Yes, Harrison County is a tiny field, but Logan Jackson of Tates Creek went 3-4 with 5 RBI's and 3 HRS. Having him back from injury looks like it will help out the creek a lot!!
  19. Chris McCamy of LCA with another very impressive performance.
  20. Although they haven't shown it in this tournament's past, I believe that LCA is the best "A" team in the state. I'll take the eagles.
  21. Anybody know the pitching matchup in this game?
  22. And yes, Gott is back on the mound. He threw a one hit shutout against LCA in his last outing.
  23. He had a little control issues, and his defense threw the ball around a little in the 3rd inning. Aside from that, Creek just hit the ball
  24. I'm going to have to give my vote to Ryan Fucci out of Tates Creek as the states best point guard
