Big win for Ballard. This has been a challenging year. The win has come near the end of the year and a chance to build for the play-offs.

[Central KY Baseball]

Ballard is the best 12-16 in the state. They have one run losses to Tate (FL), PRP, Tates Creek, Eastern, Southern, Manual, Lexington Catholic and Oldham County. It is good to see them finally pull out a close one.

 

Tates Creek has lost two in a row but they'll be fine. With Trevor Gott on the mound against Lex Cath, things should go well for them.

You could say that, but they lost to Ballard, Lafayette and Madison Central all in the past week, scoring three runs or less each time. Maybe a bit of a cause for concern entering district play.

Catholic is good, so that's understandable....but soft bats is not what you want to have going into that game. Will Catholic throw P. Maronde and Creek Gott?
