I believe (and I could be wrong) there were two Johnson teams in the Dayton league and I thought I saw a Moyer team at one time at Newport maybe. I just find it preposterous to skip 6th grade basketball.

GA I agree. I just want to see a quality head coach come in and run the program. Bellevue kids deserve to have a quality head coach....that is why I was pushing Tommy Sorrell.

He does care about kids and is a nice guy. I can agree with that 100%

Mustang Brossart has had many of these coaches. How do you feel it works?

With Brossart in the All A they present a very tough road block for anybody.

Dude suffice it to say that you continue to ask and I could provide public answers. Anybody involved in the track program at that time knows why he was a head coach for only one year. Do you really want me to post why he was only a head coach for one year? I do not think that would be a good thing to do. So........just to keep things in perspective and the fact that having him as a head basketball coach would not be a good thing I will leave it to he was a head coach for one year and was no longer the head coach the next.

I think back in the 90's the two basketball coaches at Brossart pulled it off very well. You had Kues winning state titles in cross country and winning 20 games a year in basketball. You had Sieter who became the winningest coach at Brossart in 5 seasons in basketball and winning the first ever district title and also winning a tremendous amount of baseball games.

Fisher and "fish to fry" is kind of a funny analogy since the "frying" is something Fisher loves to do.

If he has 0 basketball coaching experience and had trouble running the track program with few athletes why would he make a good basketball head coach? That is not saying that I have something against Nick Wilson it says he (in my opinion) would not be a good head basketball coach. Being from Bellevue and young does not make you a good basketball coach.....otherwise just go to a corner and grab any 24 year old that comes by and ask them if they are a Bellevue resident and there age.

How long has Eminence been playing 11 man football? I know for years they were in the 8 man division.

SF 8,000 is the maximum anybody in this state is making I would venture to guess as a stipend for coaching. Now I have nto seen all salary schedules in the state but those that I know only one is on a percentage......the rest are on straight amounts.

First of all the administration at Bracken (or one in particular) at the board office will never allow Persinger to be hired for any high level coaching position. Second if Coach Breeze is getting 8-12 thousand for his coaching stipend as someone mentioned earlier he would be the highest paid basketball coach in the state. Try 5,000 maximum is his stipend. Third maybe Daniel Fisher should coach again and that way at least the adminsitration would be on board......unless of course Mr. Ray wants the job.

No Col. Sanders your wrong!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though Homer Bailey is still young and I am sure going to the minors had a tough psychological effect on him. I would expect him to bounce back fine.

I would like to see them get somebody in place early. The last few times the basketball program lagged any decent summer workouts due to not getting a coach named. I know football is king at Bellevue but the basketball program needs a lot of work.

Maybe I should have added a comma or split the sentence. I have seen him coach track (poorly), football (more of a cheerleader than a coach).........and I have not seen him coach basketball which leads to the comment his skills would be limited at best. Even if he had great basketball knowledge witnessing him coach other sports shows he is not ready to be a head coach in a major sport. Also speaking with students and school administrators I have a real good idea how his classroom runs..........
