Moss is the best pitcher in the state. We use 3 pitchers at Madisonville North Hopkins which hurts our #1 pitchers stats but Heather Webb is 10(W) 2(L) 1(S) 2.46 ERA 83k's, 25ER in 71 ip. She has wins over Male, Eastern, Christian Co, Henderson, Hopkins Co Central, & Union Co (2).

I think we all now that Greenwood is hands down the best team in Kentucky, however I do have to ask why the lone person this week should be ashamed. The past several weeks have had at 3 or more team besides Greenwood with 1st place votes but for some reason this week with only North Hopkins getting the only other 1st place vote that person should be ashamed. I do think we should be in the top 10-15. We will go as far as our pitcher will take us.

From talking to friends from both places the are doing a rotation. Which we are doing a 3 pitcher rotation but we have been pitcher heather against ranked teams

I'm trying to figure out how Christian Co can be ranked 10th after being beat by 14th Madisonville North and unranked Union CO

Union Co beat Henderson 3-1 tonight and Livingston Central beat Central 6-1. We pitched our #3 tonight against Webster Co won 9-4. Webb hit her 3rd HR of the seson tonight.

I think you have to add Union Co into the mix as well, they have beat Christian Co 5-3 and only lost to both Central and Livingston by 1 run. Your right about the Christian Co game we did take advantage of the 6 errors, we also took advantage of Heather Webb pitching performance. 4 Hits, 1 Walk, 12K's, 1 ER while working around her teams 5 errors. Union Co and Henderson play twice this week and Hopkins Co. Central plays Livingston Central tonight. Madisonville still has 5 regional games left on the schedule, 6 if they can get together with Central on a makeup date.

Should be the teams to make it to regional tournament. Region Record North Hopkins 8-0 Hopkins Co Central 8-1 Livingston Central 8-1 Henderson 3-1 UHA 6-2 Union Co 4-3 Christian 4-2 Lyon Co 7-4 Region 2 is going to be a close one this year.

Madisonville North has beat 4 ranked teams this past week.Last weekend they beat #18 Eastern & #14 Male at Greenwood Border Battle and this week they beat #25 Henderson on Tuesday and #9 Christian Co tonight. Not bad for a young team that starts (4) 8th graders, (4) Freshman, & Sophmore. They are now 18-2 with their 2 loses coming to #6 Bob Jones HS in AL & another team from Tennessee.:woot: Sophmore Heather Webb is 8-1 with 1 save 71K's in 53.2 innings 2.09 ERA 8th grader Mallory Peyton is 5-1 13K's in 32 innings 2.43 ERA Sophmore Katlyn Faulk is 4-0 16K's in 22.1 innings 1.59 ERA Team Batting AVG .380

My daughter is a sophmore and for years I wished I had held her back a year. She had a close friend that is 2 weeks and 4 days younger than her that is a freshman. For years I had said I wished I had held her back not only for sports but for maturity level. Now the only reason I wished I had held her back is the fact we have a very strong 7th & 8th grade class. For my daughter having a late Sept birthday an extra year would have helped. She has a 3.80 GPA

How good will eastern be this year? We drew them in the Sportswarehouse tournament in Owensboro

I agree Heavy duty....We are very young I see us adding more high quality teams the next 2 years. We are also playing in the Huntsville AL tournament which has several quality teams.
